The public hearing was declared open by the Supervisor on the
application of Harvey Maille for apermit to locate a Mobile Home
on VanDusen Road, Town of Queensbury.
Proof of publication was presented and read aloud by the clerk.
Supervisor Solomon requested a voice of opinion in favor of or in
opposition to the granting of the permit. There was none.
Councilman Robertson questioned Mr. Maille as to the planned additions
to the Mobile Home when it becomes located on VanDusen Road.
Mr. Maille stated that his intentions are to add two bedrooms to the
Mobile Home- which will be moved to VanDusen Road.
The Public Hearing closed at 8:05 p.m.
Supervisor Solomon announced that the results of the recently conducted
-Housing Survey has been received. Copies of same will be distributed
at a later date.
Councilman Demboski stated, that many local residents spent a great
amount -of time in bringing about the preparation of the report.
.Supervisor Solomon announced the opening of bids to supply the Queens-
,bury Water -District with water service materials at 8:08 P.M.

The awarding of the bid was tabled for study by the Water Superintendent.
Mr. Sterling Akins questioned the fact as to the proposed nurfilAg
home which is slated to be constructed in the town in the near future.
Mrs. Akins inquired as to whether or not the proposed construction
is being sponsored by city residents who operate a nurang home under
the same name.

Attorney Harold Katz stated that the partners in the proposed con-
struction are Mr. Kyser and Mr. Iuluicci who have contracted doctors
from Schenectady who are interested in the construction.
The following resolution was presented by Supervisor Solomon for
adoption.
RESOLUTION NO. 71, Introduced by Mr. Robillard, seconded by Mr. Demboski.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 248 dated November 21, 1968, this Board
granted a permit to Donald R. Walker to locate a Mobile Home at
Fourth Street Extension in the Town of Queensbury;
NOW THEREFORE, be it
RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 248 dated November 21, 1968 be, and the
same hereby is rescinded and the Town Clerk is directed to notify said
Donald R. Walker of the said rescission.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr. Demboski, Mr. Austin, Mr. Robillard, Mr. Robertson and
Mr. Solomon.
Noes - None
Supervisor Solomon discussed the proper handling of Town Board
meetings. The Supervisor stated that all visitors will be asked to
speak at a proper time to coincide with the handling of the meeting.
Mrs. Lois Chase questioned as to handling of granting permits to
locate Mobile homes within the Town of Queensbury. Mrs. Chase
suggested that a space of land be set aside for location of Mobile
Homes in certain locations.
Councilman Robertson and Councilman Demboski discussed at length,
the actual system of handling the granting of permits for Mobile
Home locations within the Town of Queensbury.
Supervisor Solomon stated that all results of actions of the Town
Board at at board meetings has appeared and will continue to appear
in the local press on Friday following each Town Board Meeting.
Mr. Sterling Akins suggested that the Building Inspector should
inspect deeds for properties where Mobile Homes would be located.
Mr. Edward Waters the Dog Warden for the Town of Queensbury discussed
dog problems which are arising within the town.
RESOLUTION TO DISAPPROVE APPLICATION TO LOCATE MOBILE HOME OUTSIDE
OF MOBILE HOME COURT.
RESOLUTION NO. 72 , introduced by Mr.- Solomon, seconded by Mr. Austin.
WHEREAS, Frank DeVizzio of 70 South St. , Glens Falls, New York has
made application in accordance with paragraph 2 (c) ,, Section 4, of
an ordinance of the Town of Queensbury entitled ORDINANCE FOR THE
REGULATION OF MOBILE HOMES AND MOBILE HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF
QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY, NEW YORK, to locate a mobile home outside
of a duly licensed mobile home court at property situated Lots #3 & #4
Pinello Road, Town of Queensbury, N. Y. , and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that said application complies with
the requirements of said ordinance but that the facts as presented
in said application are not sufficient to justify further consideration
by this board, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned
ordinance, the application of Frank DeVizzio of 70 South Street,
Glens Falls, N. Y. , to locate a mobile home outside of a duly
licensed mobile home court is not approved and that the Town Clerk

decision of this board.

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE PUBLIC HEARING
RESOLUTION NO. 73, Introduced by Mr. Solomon, seconded by Mr. Robillard.
WHEREAS, David Burch of Luzerne Road has made application in
accordance with paragraph 2 (c) Section 4, of an ordinance of the
Tovft of Queensbury entitled ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF MOBILE
HOMES AND MOBILE HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, WARREN
COUNTY, NEW YORK, to locate a mobile home outside of a duly
licensed mobile home court at property situated Burch Road-,
second , on right, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that said application complies
with the requirements of said ordinance, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said
application are sufficient to justify further consideration by this
board, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned
ordinance, the town board shall .conduct a public hearing on said
application on April 10, 1969, at 8:00 p.m. in the Queensbury Town
Office Building, Bay Road, and that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to give proper notice of said public hearing in
accordance with the provisions of said ordinance.

In the Matter
of
the Establishment of- EXTENSION NO. 2 to the
QUEENSBURY WATER DISTRICT in the Town of
Queensbury, County of Warren and State of
New York, pursuant to Article 12-A of the
Town Law.
WHEREAS, a map, plan and report have been prepared in
such manner and in such detail as has hhretofore been determined
by the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury relating to the pro-
posed establishment of an extension to be known and designated as
Extension No. 2 to the existing Queensbury Water District in the
Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, such map, plan and report have been duly filed
in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, said map, plan and report were prepared by
Joseph A. Kestner, Jr. , of One Kestner Lane, Troy, N.Y. , a competent
engineer fully licensed by the State of New York, showing the
boundaries of the proposed extension which will consist of the
addition of two tracts of land immediately adjacent to the
existing Queensbury Water District, and which map, plan and report
shows that all lands within the proposed extension will be served
from the water supply of Queensbury Water District by existing
mains adjacent to the proposed extension and that no construction
will be required in the proposed extension, and that no expense
other than engineering costs and legal fees will be required, and
WHEREAS, the boundaries of proposed Extension No. 2
to the Queensbury Water District are as follows:
"Parcel Number One
Beginning at a point in the center of Potter Road at
the southwesterly corner of lands of John Van Dusen, running
from thence in a northerly direction along the westerly
bounds of the said lands 175 feet, more or less, to a corner
of the present Queensbury Water District; thence running in
an easterly direction and a northeasterly direction along
the present Queensbury Water District boundary, which runs
parallel to Potter Road and 175 feet, more or less, distant
from the center thereof, to an angle point in the said water
district boundary, said point being distant 150 feet south-
erly from the southerly bounds of Aviation Road; thence run-
ning in a southeasterly direction along the southwesterly
bounds of the present water district boundary 175 feet, more
or less, to the center of Potter Road; thence running in a
southwesterly and a westerly direction in the center of
Potter Road to the point and place of beginning. The above
described premises is a portion of lots 64, 71 and 78 of
Queensbury.
Parcel Number Two
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of lot 64 of
the first subdivision of Queensbury, being also the south-
easterly corner of lands of Henry Sleight, running from
thence in a westerly direction along the southerly bounds of
a portion of the said lot 64 and the southerly bounds of the
said lands of Henry Sleight to the southwesterly corner
thereof; thence running in a northerly direction along the
— westerly bounds of the said lands of Henry Sleight to the
southerly bounds of the present Queensbury Water District,
said point being distant 150.00 feet southerly from the
southerly bounds of Aviation Road; thence running in a south-
easterly direction along the present Queensbury Water
District boundary, parallel to Aviation Road and 150.00 feet
distant southerly from the southerly bounds thereof, crossing
Dixon Road, to a point distant 150.00 feet northerly from
the northerly bounds of Dixon Road; thence running in a
southeasterly direction, still along the present Queensbury
Water District boundary, parallel to Dixon Road and distant
150.00 feet northerly from the northerly bounds thereof, to
a point in the easterly bounds of the said lot 64 of the
first subdivision of Queensbury, said point being in the
westerly bounds of the present Queensbury Water District
boundary; thence running in a southerly direction along
the same to the point and place of beginning. The above
described premises is in lot 64 of the first subdivision
of the Town of Queensbury," and
WHEREAS, the estimated maximum cost . of the establish-
ment of said proposed extension, including engineering and legal --
services, is the sum of $500.00 which will be paid from current
funds to be provided for such purpose and no indebtedness will
be incurred for such purpose, and
WHEREAS, the said map, plan and report describing the
proposed Extension No. 2 to the Queensbury Water District and the
improvements therein are on file in the office of the Town Clerk
of the Town of Queensbury for public inspection,
RESOLUTION NO. 74
Now, on motion of Councilman Robertson, seconded by
Supervisor Solomon, it is hereby
ORDERED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury,
Warren County, New York shall meet and hold a public hearing at
the Queensbury Town Office Building, Bay Road in said Town of
Queensbury on the 10th day of April, 1969 at 8:00 o'clock P,M.
on that day to consider said map, plan and report and to hear all
persons interested in the subject thereof concerning the same and
to take such action thereon as is required or authorized by law.
The adoption of the foregoing order was duly put to a
vote and upon roll call, the vote was as follows :

RESOLUTION NO. 75 , introduced by Mr. Austin, seconded by Mr. Robillard.
WHEREAS, Harvey T. Maille of 32 Luzerne Road Town of Queensbury, has
made application in accordance with paragraph 2 (c) Section 4, of
an ordinance of the Town oe Queensbury entitled; ORDINANCE FOR THE
REGULATION OF MOBILE HOMES AND MOBILE HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF j
QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY, NEW YORK, to locate a mobile home out-
side of a duly licensed mobile home court at property situated
Van Dusen Road-426 feet from East side_ Luzerne Road, . and
WHEREAS, this town board has conducted a public hearing in
connection with said application and has heard all persons desiring
to be heard in favor of or against said application, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said
application and at said public hearing are sufficient to authorize
the issuance of the permit requested by said application, for the
following reasons :
There were no persons in appearance in opposition to the granting
of the permit. The application was approved by the building and
Zoning Inspector, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned
ordinance, permission is hereby given to Harvey T. Maille of
32 Luzerne Road, Town of Queensbury to locate a mobile home outside
of a licensed mobile home court, at property situated at VanDusen Road,
426 feet from East Side Luzerne Road and that the Town Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed toissue such permit in accordance
with the terms and conditions of said ordinance.

RESOLUTION APPOINTING PATROLMAN --
RESOLUTION NO. 77, Introduced by Mr. Robillard , seconded by
Mr. Austin.
WHEREAS, there is a need for a Patrolman in the Police Depart-
ment of the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, James Francis Ogden is qualified to fill such position,
therefore be it
RESOLVED, that this Board does hereby appoint James Francis Odgen
to the position of Provisional Patrolman at a salary of $6,000.
per year effective March 17, 1969.

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE ATTENDANCE AT CONFERENCE
RESOLUTION NO. 78, Introduced by Mr. Demboski, seconded by
Mr. Robertson.
RESOLVED, that permission is hereby granted to Thomas K. Flaherty,
Scott Hopkins and Claude White, to attend the conference meeting
of the Adirondack Water Works Association, to be held March 27, 1969
at the Chateau De Louis , South Glens Falls, New York, and that the
actual and necessary expenses incurred in such attendance is a
proper town charge.

Mr. Peter Holmes approached the Town Board with a request for
re-zoning his property on Ridge Road.
Mr. Solomon stated that the request must be presented to the
Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals .
