Mr. Gerald Solomon, Supervisor
Queensbury Office Building
Town of Queensbury, New York
Dear Gerry:
It is with regret that I must request that the Town
Board not reappoint me to the Town Planning Board. As
you know, I have been recently elected to the school Board
of the Lake George Central School. For this and other
business reasons, I can no longer give sufficient time to
the duties as a member of the Town Planning Board.
It has been a privilege and a source of personal
accomplishment to have served on the Planning Board.
However, leaving before certain basic points have been
resolved is unfortunate for me. I am referring to the
adoption of the State Building Code, revision of Sign
Ordinance Sections and a set of Subdivision regulations.
These three (3) items I consider very important for the
efficiency of the Town Building Department and the orderly a
growth of the town in general.
I hope in the near future, that I may once again
be able to serve my community in whatever sphere may be
available.
Sincerely yours,
Paul .E. Cushing, Jr.
Councilman Demboski, stated that the continued efforts of
Mr. Paul Cushing have added to .the growth of the Town of .
Queensbury. Mr. Demboski also stated that a debt of gratitude
is due Mr. Cushing.
Supervisor Solomon presented and read aloud a letter from
Attorney Har6ld W. Katz.
