CEMETERY COMMISSION
TOWN OF QUEENSBURY
January 11, 1968
TO:
Supervisor Solomon & Town Board members.
Gentlemen:
The recreation Committee of the Town has asked the
Cemetery Commission for permission to use one of our
trucks for carrying of water hose used for flooding the
skating rinks in the Town.
They would also like to store the hose in the
Pineview Cemetery garage during the remainder of the
winter. At our last regular meeting on Jan. 6th. , we
discussed the reguest and voted to give our consent for
the use of the truck and garage space.
YV
We feel- that, in- as much as the pick-up truck we
would let them use_ is a town owned piece of equipment,
the Town Board should also give its consent. We
recommend that this action be taken byyour board.
After favorable action by your board, we
will make the necessary arrangement for keys, etc.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Sidney VanDusen
Secretary, Cemetery Comm.
Following discussion the Town Board agreed that the permission
should be granted.

Supervisor - Town of Queensbury
Mr. Gerald Solomon
Queensbury, New York
Dear Mr. Solomon;
I am regretfully submitting my resignation from the committee
on low cost housing and housing for the aged.
My main reason for resigning is that I have a conflict with
this committee in that they meet on Tuesday evenings.
I have had for the previous eight years had a commitment for
Tuesday evenings. If I could not make the meetings I feel
I could not handle the position effectively.
Very truly yours,
