Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is the result of extensive
study by groups and commissions who are active in the Town of

The minutes of the meeting of April 25, 1968 were approved.
Carried unanimously. Moved by Mr. Demboski, seconded by Mr. Turner.
A letter was presented and read aloud by the clerk to do with
a request of Greyhound Bus Corporation for permission to use
Highway 87 within the Town of Queensbury.
A Public Hearing will be arranged on the request at a later date.
Supervisor Solomon announced a request of the Glens Falls Jaycees
to conduct a "Road - E - 0 at Clark' s Discount Store, Town of
Queensbury, on May 19, 1968. The proper insuarance coverage was
received and the Town Clerk was authorized and directed to issue
the permit.

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE PERMIT FOR AMUSEMENT OPERATIONS

The monthly statement of the Supervisor was received and placed on I +,
file. The total receipts as listed were $26,630.59. The total

Mr. William Richardson was granted the floor. A question was raised
by Mr. Richardson as to the Re-zoning of the Zayre property on Route 9.
A complaint was registered by Mr. Richardson to do with a recently
installed roof-sign on the Save-Way Market in the Zayre Shopping.
Complex.

WHEREAS, application has been made by Henry J. Sleight for the re-zoning
of an area on the north side of Aviation Road and west of the Queensbury
Central School from. an R-4 district to an R-5 district, and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Queensbury, Sectionll.100
and Sections 264 and 265, Art. 16, Chapter 62 of the Consolidated Laws
of the State of New York provide that any proposed amendmentor change
in the Zoning Ordinance be referred to the Planning Board for a report,

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REFUND OF TAXES

WHEREAS, Herman Depold and Mitzi Depold, owners of property in the
Town of Queensbury described as an Island in Glen Lake, Camp, k acres,
paid School Taxes for the year 1966-1967 in the amount of$56.98,
including the receiver' s fee, and
WHEREAS, said taxes were paid doubly by said Herman Depold and
Mitzi Depold through an error by the Receiver of Taxes and proof
thereof has been properly submitted and audited, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the said erroneous overpayment of taxes in the amount
of $56.98 collected from the said Herman Depold and Mitzi Depold for
1966-1967 Queensbury School taxes be refunded to the said Herman Depold
and Mitzi Depold.
