Our records show that you filed a Building Permit application on July 15, 2009 for the construction of a 384 sf storage shed. As the proposed building had a garage door we considered it to be a garage. This information was provided to you via voice mail message on July 21, 2009. Lacking any response from you on this matter the permit was not further processed. Currently, it appeals as though you have const<ucted a building on the property -other than the shed shown in your 2009 application without a permit. As the attached photo shows, this building also has a garage sized door and the building appears to be capable of storing a vehicle. As such, this building is also considered to be a garage. As noted in my previous message to you, you have two options in this matter. First, you may reconfigure the door to be less than 6 ft wide or apply for an Area Variance for a second garage on your property. Enclosed is an Area Variance application for your use. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact this office. Your immediate attention to this matter before December 1, 2010 is necessary in order to avoid an appearance ticket with the Town of Queensbury Justice Court.
