ApplicationNew Business Area Variance Review in the month of July 2011 Fiore 6 Holly Lane Detached garage with overhead storage TOWN OF QUEENSBURY 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY 12804-5902 518-761-8201 June 16, 2011 Florence and Brian Connor 6 Holly Lane Lake George, NY 12845 RE: Garage 68olly'Lane Tax Map Parcel No: 239.12 2-SI Dear Mr. & Mrs. Connor. I am writing to you in response to my review of your project plans and to document our conversations with your agent, Dennis MacElroy regarding the proposed garage on your property at 6 Holly Lane. Upon review of the plans submitted to this office, I find that an Area Variance will be necessary in order for you to construct the garage as desired. Specifically, the proposed garage exceeds the maximum allowable height requirement of the Waterfront Residential, (WR) district as such a variance is necessary. I note that you acknowledge the need to consolidate your two parcels should you be granted the necessary'height relief. This consolidation needs to be in the form of a new deed describing all lands as one parcel. Should you have any questions regarding the above comments, please do not hesitate to contact this office. Sincerely, Town of Queensbury Cralg Brown Zoning Administrator CB/sh Cc: Dennis MacElroy L:~Ctaig Brown~2011 Letters~Deaial Connor 6 1 b 11.doc "HOME OF NATURAL BEAUTY ...
