RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE PERMIT TO SUBSTITUTE MOBILE HOME #96
• RESOLUTTION N0, 202, Introduced.-by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Lampson.
WHEREAS, Beatrice J. Dresser of R.F.D. #3 Ohio Avenue, West Glens Falls,
New York has made application to this board for a permit to:
Replace present owned Mobile Home with a new one at property situated
at R.F.D. #3 Ohio Avenue West Glens Falls, New York and owned by
Beatrice J. Dresser & Frances Morrill, and
WHEREAS, upon proper investigation it appears that the applicant
has complied with all of the requirements of the ordinance
regulations relating to mobile homes in the Town of Queensbury,
therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the application of Beatrice J. Dresser as above
described is hereby approved and that the Town Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to lissue to Beatrice J. Dresser the proper
permit.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr. Turner, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster
Noes - None
Mr. Thomas K. Flaherty, Superintendent of Queensbury Water District
discussed the bids as received at this meeting. Bids of Mott Manbeck
Machinery Company, Inc. , didnot meet the "Specs" as prepared by
the Superintendent. Mr. Flaherty recommended the acceptance of the
bid of State Equipment Company as meeting the "Specs" for anet price
of $11,990.00. Purchase will be arranged at a later date.

Gentlemen:
I have evaluated the bids received for the purchase of a backhoe,
loader and have found the following;
The bid of Mott Manbeck, Latham, New York: Model 680
This bid failed to meet our specifications as follows;
1. Brakes
2. Transmission
3. Converter
4. Stabilizer cylinder
5. Reversing Transmission lockout
The alternate bid of Mott Manbeck is of a type of machine that fails
tomeet our specifications in all items.
The bid of State Equipment Co. Albany
This bid meets ar exceeds our specifications in all items,
Therefore it is the recommendation of this department that the bid of
State Equipment Company be accepted.

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE CONTRACTS RELATING TO Y E S PROGRAM FOR 1968
RESOLUTION NO. 203, Introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Beaty
RESOLVED, that the Town of Queensbury continue joint participation
in the Y E S Program during 1968 with the City of Glens Falls and the
Village of South Glens Falls, and that the Supervisor is hereby
authorized and directed to apply for State Assistance under such
program and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is -hereby authorized to execute contracts
with -the City of Glens Falls and the Village of South Glens Falls, to
provide for the joint municipal sponsorship of the program, under which
arrangement the City of Glens Falls would be the disbusrsing municipality
for all three communities.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr, Beaty, Mr, Turner, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster
