Supervisor Webster discussed a request that. the Town of Queensbury
enter into a county wide Refuse Disposal.
Councilman Robertson and Councilman Lamp son appeared to .be in
favor of the study,

Couneil)aan Beaty, and Councilman Turner .spoke in opposition .,to the
plan. The final decision-on the matter will take place at -a later
date.

RESOLVED that the Audit of Claims as listed in Abstract #67-2
numbered #86 through #87 inclusive and totaling $768.00 is hereby
approved. .

M contracts with West Glens Falls Volunteer Fire Co., Inc. and,
North Queensbury Volunteer Fire Co. , Inc. and Bay Ridge Volunteer
Fire Co. , Inc. for furnishing ambulance service within the Town of
Queensbury.
The Notice as published was presemted: and read by the clerk.
Supervisor Webster requested a voice from any persons present
either in favor of or against the signing of the contracts.

Mr. Clifford Witham spoke in favor of the ambulance service and
spoke also of the tremendous service being rendered by all three
of the fire companies ambulances.

The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:05 p.m.
Mr. Clifford Witham discussed the "Showpcause Order" which was
recently rejected by -Justice Hughes. - Mr. Witham stated that an
appeal is being prepared and that in his opinion the appelate
division will honor thelappeal. '
Supervisor Webster discussed the recent meeting o€ -the Association
of Towns Which was attended by town officials on February 6.7-8th
at New Rork, City.. . ... . .
The clerk anlinounced the receipt of a fileing of the petition of the
-- petition for annexation as prepared by Mr. Edward Nadeau, the
Attorney for the City of Glens Falls.- •` '
The clerk announced the receipt of a request from Mr. -Edward Nadeau,
the Attorney for the City of Glens Falls' for a copy 'of the master
plan for zoning,as prepared by the consultants to the Planning Board.
The comprehensive plan has been forwarded to Attorney Nadeau.

WHEREAS, this Town Board adopted an order on the 19th day of
January, 1967, -denying the petition_ of Douglas Crockweilaand others
for the annexation to the City oftGlens falls of certain lands in
the Town of Queensbury owned -by Douglas Crockwell, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of-the City of Glens Falls has commenced
a special proceeding in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court,
Third Department, by Edward L. Nadeau, -City Attorney, and copies

Mr. Bernard J. Codner, Superintendents of Highways recommended the
purchase of one Ford Pick-up truck on recent bids being. let -on
State Contract. The purchase price of the truck was quoted at
$19462.16 by the Superintendent.

RESOLUTION NO. 46, Introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Robertson.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Town Board adopt an
ordinance which will require permits for the constructing, :
alteration or enlargement of sewage disposal- system for private
dwellings in the portion of the Town of Queensbury which lies
within the boundaries of the Lake George Park after April 1, 1967,
which will adopt standards for such sewage disposal systems and
provide penalties for violation thereof,, and a proposed ordinance
has been prepared and presented to the Town Board, be it
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hold a public hearing on the matter
of the adoption of -such proposed ordinance at the Town Office
Building-on'the 23rd day. of February, 1967 at- 8:15. o'clock, P.M.,,
and that the Town Clerk be and he hereby -is directed to, give
notice of such public hearing is the manner provided- by law.
