The meeting was called .to order by the Supervisor at 8:00 p.m.
Supervisor Webster greeted the following visitors:

The bid opening for supplying highway salt for use by the Highway
Department was announced by Supervisor Webster at this time.
Proof of Publication was presented by the clerk and read aloud.
Supervisor Webster requested any questions on the request for bids
from any bidder present. There were none.
The clerk :opened and .read .aloud the following bids:

Salt in 100# or 80# Bags - $22.40 Per ton
Salt in;bulk - 16.40 Per ton
J. Ricciardelli Feed & Grain Store -
Salt in 100# bags -_ $22.20 Per ton

Mr. Harold Rathbun was granted the floor.
Mr_. Rathbun discussed the present status of efforts being made by the
town officials to combat the effort of residents within the Town of
Queensbury for their property to become annexed to the City of Glens
Falls. The Public Hearing on the annexation is slated for December 14,
1966. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Supervisor Webster discussed the plans being layed out to express the
feeling of officials and residents of the town in the matter at hand.
The clerk presented an application as prepared by Donald E. VanVorst
of Glen Lake to use a travel trailer on his property for temporary
housing. Action will be taken at a later time this meeting.

Report to the Town Board regarding unpaid rents in the several
water districts for the period 11/1/1965 - 11/1/1966.'
Following is a report of unpaid water rents in the several water
districts of the Town of Queensbury for the period beginning 11/1/1965
-- and ending 11/1/1966. These unpaid water rents have been filed in the
office of the Town Clerk and the unpaid items have been returned to be
relayed on the 1967 Town Tax bills and Assessment, Roll.

RESOLUTION NO. 273, Introduced by Mr. Webster, seconded by Mr. Turner.
WHEREAS, the members of the Town Board of the Town ofQueens-
bury were- shocked and saddened by the death of Mrs. Marie Purchla
on the 20th day of November, 1966, and
WHEREAS, Mrs, Marie Purchla was serving her first term as
Receiver of Taxes and Assessments of the Town of Queensbury and
had conducted the affairs of that office in a courteous and
efficient manner, and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Purchla was member of one pf the old and
respected families of the town and the entire town has suffered
a loss on her death, be it
RESOLVED, that the members of the Town Board of the Town of
Queensbury hereby record their profound sorrow on the death of
Marie Purchla and extend to her son and brothers their sincere
sympathy, and be it further

RESOLVED, that this resolution be entered in the minutes
of this meeting and that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is
directed to transmit copies thereof to the members of her family.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr. Turner, Mr. Lapp son, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster.
Noes - None
A rising vote was taken on the resolution above; which was followed
by a moment of silent prayer in honor of Mrs. Purchla.
Mr. Bernard J. Codner, brother of the deceased spoke for himself and
the other members of the family of Marie Purchla :with appr6ciation
shown for them in time of sorrow.
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE APPLICATION FOR TRANSIENT MOBILE HOME COURT
RESOLUTION NO. 274, Introduced by Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Lampson.
WHEREAS, Jessica P. King of 797 Whitney Drive, Schenectady, New York
12309 and Betty P. King of, 8 Cedar Lane; Scotia, New York 12302
have made application for a permit to operate a new Transient
Mobile Home Court containing 100 lots for mobile homes on property
situated at South Side, Farm to Market Road and
WHEREAS, the Town Building Inspector has, after investigation, given
approval of the plans, but has expressed disapproval of the
application, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the application ,of Jessica F. King and Betty P. King
of 797 Whitney Drive, Schenectady, New York 12309, and 8 Cedar Lane
Scotia, New York 12302 for a permit to operate a new TRANSIENT
MOBILE HOME COURT containing ,100 lots for mobile homes, on `property
situated at South Side, Fram to Market Road be and the same is
hereby approved and that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to notify the applicant of the decision of this Board.
Be it further
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized to issue the
permit to operate a TRANSIENT MOBILE HOME COURT upon receipt of the
fee, in accordance with Section 2, paragraph 4 of the Mobile Home
Ordinance of the Town of Queensbury.

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE PERMIT FOR MOBILE DOME
RESOLUTION NO. 275, Introduced by Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Beaty.
WHEREAS, Veronica M, Kingsley ofR.F.D. 4P3 Luzerne Road, West Glens Falls
New York, has made application in accordance with paragraph 2 (c)
Section 4, of an ordinance of the Town of Queensbury entitled
ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF, MOBILE HOMES and MOBILE HOME COURTS IN
THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY, NEVI YORK, to locate a mobile
home outside of a duly licensed mobile home court at property situated
on Pinello Road, and

WHEREAS, this town board has conducted a public hearing in connection
with said application and has heard all persons desiring to be heard
in favor of or against said application, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said
application and at said public hearing are sufficient to authorize
the issuance of the permit requested by said application, under the
following conditions:
That the applicant commence construction of a,permanent residence
within one year and with the further condition and understanding
that this permit is issued for a term of 24 months and if the
statements made by the applicant regarding construction of a
dwelling are,not carried out this permit will be revoked by the Y
Town Board, therefore be it

RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned
ordinance, permission is hereby given to Veronica M. Kingsley to
locate a mobile home outside of a licensed mobile home court, at
property situated at Pinello Road, and that the Towa Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to issue such permit in accordance
with` the terms and conditions of said ordinance; 4

Noes - None
Bernard J. Codner, Superintendent of Highways recommended the
acceptance of the 'Salt Bid" of J. Ricciardelli Feed & Grain Store
as the lowest responsible fidder.

RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID FOR HIGHWAY SALT
RESOLUTION NO. 276, Introduced by Mr. Lampson, seconded by Mr. Beaty.
WHEREAS, this Town Board has asked for sealed bids for the delivery
of highway salt for the coming winter, and
WHEREAS, the bid of J. Ricciardelli. Feed & Grain Store of 65 - 67
South Street, Glens Falls, New York in the amount of $22.20 per ton
in 100# bags delivered to the Town Storehouse, and $16.20 per ton
delivered in bulk to the Town Storehouse, appears to be the lowest
bid of the 2 submitted, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the bid of J. Ricciardelli Feed & Grain Store be and
the same is hereby accepted and approved.

Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr. Turner, Mr, Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster.

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE TEMPORARY PERMIT FOR MOBILE HOME No. 67
RESOLUTION NO. 277, introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Robertson.
WHEREAS, Donald VanVorst R.F.D. #1, Lake George, New York has made
application^ in accordance with- paragraph 2 (a) Section 4, of an --
ordinance o'f the Town of Queensbury entitled ORDINANCE FOR THE
REGULATION OF MOBILE HOMES AND MOBILE HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF
QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY, NEW YORK, to locate a mobile home outside
of a duly licensed mobile home court at proprerty situated Town of
Queensbury, R.F.D. #1 Lake George, New York, and

WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said
application are sufficient to authorize the issuance of the permit
requested by said application, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned

of R.F. D. #1 Lake George, New York to locate a mobile home outside
of a licensed mobile home court, for a period of 3 months at property
situated at R.F.D. #1, Lake George, New York, Town of Queensbury,
and that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to issue
such permit in accordance with the terms and conditions of said
ordinance.

At the request of Attorney Albert E. Beswick, the- following statement
of the appointment of Betty Eggleston to fill the vacancy in the office
of Receiver of Taxes and Assessments is hereby entered in the minutes
of the meeting of November 25, 1966.
WHEREAS, avacancy exists in the office of Receiver of Taxes
and Assessments in the Town of Queensbury, Warren County, New York,
because -of the death of Maxie Purchla, who was elected to that office.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the power vested in us
by Section 64 of the Town Law, we, the undersigned members of the
Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, do hereby appoint Betty Eggleston,
a qualified person residing in the Town of Queensbury, to fill the
vacancy existing in the office of Receiver of Taxes and Assessments,
effective immediately and to hold office until a Receiver of Taxea
and Assessments is elected at the general election of 1967.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto set our hands and seals
at the Town Office Building in said Town on this 25th day of November,
1966.
