RESOLUTION NO. 224, introduced by Mr. Robertson, seconded by

RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby authorized and
directed to write to Mr. Frank J. Fuller, District 'Engineer
New York State Department of Public Works, requesting re-
construction of Ridge Road, Route 9L, from the City of Glens
Falls line northerly to the Farm to Market Road, Route 149.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr. Turner, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Robertson and
Mr. Webster.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p. m.
Supervisor Webster, greeted the following visitors:

The minutes of the meetings of September 9th - 16th - 23rd, were
approved at this time.
Carried unanimously.
Mr. LeRoy Phillips reported ,on the present police protection for
• school children as previously requested at the Chapel of the
Catholic Church on Aviation Road. The subject of restricted
parking of cars at this location was also discussed.
Mr. D. W. Weeks approached the Town Board with a request for a
street light to be installed at the corner of Montray Road and
Sweet Road. Supervisor Webster explained the fact to Mr. Weeks,
that the Town Board has no right to install a light at the
location due to ,the fact that the location is a .Town Highway.
Supervisor Webster, announced toe opening of the Public Hearing
on the Benefits Districts of the Town of Queensbury. --
Proof of publication was presented by the clerk.
The reading of the Notice was dispensed with at this time.
The Supervisor requested any appearances in opposition.
There were none.
TherSupervisor requested a voice from any persons in favor, of the
adoption of the budget.
There were none.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:15 p. m.
Supervisor Webster declared the Public Hearing open on the acceptance
of the Assessment Rolls of the Special Districts.
Proof of publication was presented by the clerk.
The reading of the Notice was dispensed with at this time.
The Supervisor requested a voice from any persons in opposition.
The Clerk presented a typewritten list of properties within the
Baraodacres Drainage District which appear to be under-assessed on
the-front-footage basis.

RESOLUTION NO. 225, Introduced by Mr. Beaty, seconded by Mr. Turner
WHEREAS, this Town Board has-met-at the time and place specified in
the Notice of Public Hearing on the Preliminary Budgets of the
Reservoir-Park Sewer District, - the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer
District, the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District Extension #42
and the Queensbury Drainage District, and has heard all persons
desiring to be heard- thereon, therefore be it
RESOLVED; that the Preliminary Budgets of the Reservoir Park Sewer
District, the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District, the Pershing-
Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District Extension #4, and the Queensbury
Drainage-District are hereby -adopted as the Annual Budgets of said
districts, and that such budgets as adopted be entered in detail in the
minutes of the proceedings of this board, together with the deter-
mination of this board as to the assessment of benefit to the property
owners within the districts, and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk shall prepare and certify in triplicate
copies of said annual budgets as adopted by this town board and
deliver two copies thereof to the Supervisor of the Town, one of
which is to be presented by him to the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Warren.

The State Traffic Commission has" filed an order with the Secretary
of State, as section 2352.10, subdivision (b) , paragraph (9) of
its regulations, and dated Sept. 27, 1965 for the following
regulation:
Description of Action
Repeals the designation of the intersection of
Route 9L with Route 149 at Station 86+ on SH 1813
as stop intersections.
The above action is to be effective upon removal.
The New York State Dept. Public Works is to install, operate and
maintain, or remove, traffic-control devices in conformance with

door delivery are being approved at this time. However, the patrons
who live on Main Street in West Glens Falls who have to cross the
highway to receive their mail may relocate their boxes to in front
of their residence. I hope that this will be of some help in regard

The clerk presented the applications of Edward T. Kingsley and
Daniel A and Sandra J. Cornetto to locate mobile homes outside of
a duly licensed mobile home court;
A lengthy discussion ensued on the content of the rules of the
Mobile Home Ordinance, which wa adopted by the Town Board of the
Town of Queensbury.
Councilman Beaty voiced an opinion that the restrictions as
contained in the ordinance should be honored and enforced.-

WHEREAS, the term of George J. Kushner, as a member- of the Town

request for additional street lighting within the Town.

This letter is for the purpose of asking your efforts in
locating a few street lights from Henry Sleights store to the end
of Aviation Road.
This highway is in total darkness and anything can happen
unless we improve the situation.
Ted I know our town is growing mighty fast and many
important improvements are needed but it would really be too bad
if some one was badly injured or even killed due to lack of lights
in this territory.

Superintendent of Highways,, Bernard J. Codner reported on the
final report of Highway Mileage as set bywthe` State of New York
Department of Public Works. The mileage has been established
at 114 miles.
Superintendent of Highways, Bernard J. Codner recommended the
advertisement for bids on a Hydraulically operated V Box Hopper
with the following specifications:
Specifications for a new Hydraulically operated V. Box Hopper
Material Spreader.
Hopper shall be a V Type Body all welded construction of at
least #10 Guage Steel. Bottom shall be of at least 3/16" steel.
Body shall be at least 6 cu. yard capacity
Body shall have heavy duty hinged screens on top
Body shall have an adjustable discharge gate
Body shall have Catwalks
Body shall have heavy duty Chain Conveyor of replaceable link
construction
The Conveyor shall be adjustable to allow for wear
The Distributor can be either one or two spinners
A separate Hydraulic Motor shall power the Conveyor and spinner or
spinners
The Distributor shall have manual controled deflectors
Spinner ,or Spinners can be front or rear mounted
Hydraulic Pump shall be of ,sufficient size and power to operate
Conveyor and spinner or spinners under all conditions
Pump shall be direct coupled to separate gasoline engine

The Town Board will meet in the library of the Queensbury Junior

opened and read aloud. The Town Board reserves the right to reject
any or all bids.

"- WHEREAS, Edward T. Kingsley oX 3 Shermantown Road, Glens Falls, N. Y. ,
has made application in accordance with pariagraph 2 (c) Section 4,
of an ordinance of the Town of Queensbury entitled ORDINANCE FOR
THE REGULATION OF MOBILE HOMES AND MOBILE HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF
QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY, NEW YORK, to locate a mobile home outside
of a duly licensed mobile home court at property situated,.
Ogden Road last Lot before boys camp right hand side, and
WHEREAS, IT IS hereby determined that said application complies with
the requirements of said ordinance, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said
application are sufficient to justify further consideration by this
board, therefore be it . C
RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned
ordinance, the town board shall conduct a public hearing on said
application on October 14, 1965, at 8:00 p.m. in the library of
Queensbury Junior High School, Aviation Road, and that the Town
Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give proper notice of
said public hearing in accordance with the provisions of said
ordinance.

WHEREAS, it appears ftom the minute book that there are duplications
in the numbering of certain resolutions, be it
RESOLVED that the Town Clerk bg and he hereby is authgrized and
directed to correct the minutes of the meeting of the Town Board
held on September 23, 1965, by changing the numbers of resolutions
214,215 and 216 therein to 219, 220 and 221. c

WHEREAS, Mr. Floyd Pickett, Chairman of the Queensbury Democratic
Committee did appoint Shirley Roach as Election Inspector in
District No. 4 of the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, Shirley Roach will not beable to serve, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Betty. Duval of 3 GreenFay North be appointed as
Election Inspector of District No. 4 of the Town of Queensbury.

RESOLUTION NO. 237, introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by
Mr. Robertson
WHEREAS, Mr. Floyd Pickett, Chairman of the Queensbury Democratic
Committee did appoint Mary Mcllvaine as Flection Inspector in
District. No. 5 of the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, Mary Mcllvaine will not beable to serve, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Elizabeth Tallon, of Meadow Drive be appointed as
Election Inspector of District No. 5 of the Town of Queensbury.
