421 - Organization Meeting January 1, 1965 Present: John 0. Webster Supervisor N. Harwood Beaty Councilman Theodore Turner Councilman Curtis Lampson Councilman Hammond--Robertson, Jr. Councilman The meeting was called- to order at 11:00 A.M. Mr. Thomas K. Flaherty the recently appointed Acting Superintendent of the Queensbury Water District was present, December 31, 1964. Queensbury Town Board, is Leslie A. Hillis, am submitting an application. for Building Inspector and Multiple Dwelling Inspector for the Town of Queensbury. I feel that these two jobs are compatable, and it would serve the interest of the Town if they were held by the same person. Respectfully submitted, Leslie A. Hillis, Multiple Dwelling Fire Inspector for the Town of Queensbury,- have made a complete inspection of all multiple dwellings in the, Town for the year of 1964. -- I have also answered numerous fire .hazard calls from residents of the-Town. The. Town of Queensbury has grown considerably in the past five years.. I believe that it needs a fire code. Webster, Supervisor t - Town,of Queensbury Dear Johns A resolution was passed by the Cemetery Commission of the Town of..Queensbury at its regular December meeting, to request the Queensbury Town Board to raise the -salary of Franklin Scoville to $4,000 per year to become effective on January -1st, 1965. Mr. Scoville has given many years of devoted service to the maintainence and care of Pineview Cemetery, and it is the feeling of this, Commission that he is entitled to this increase of salary. Van Dusen, of the Town of Queensbury, be re- tained as Toucan Surveyor-..of the Town of Queensbury for the fiscal year of 1965 at. an annual compensation of $3,000.00 and that the Supervisor ba and he hereby is authorized to execute on behalf of the Town a contract with John B.
