apply for the job of Building Inspector for Queensbury.
My experience includes ten years as an Electr1cal"Contfaator wiring
all types of buildings, commercial, industrial and residential. Prior
to this, I designed and built my residence at 14 Wincrest Drive._
Although I am not a graduate engineer, I have a knowledge of structures
and the building codes now ,in use in various localities which would
assist me in filling this job in a manner expected by our Town Board.

Your request for exemptions to Part 19 of the New York State
Sanitary Code, Section 19.2 (4) will not be granted for the following
reasons:
1. In the opinion of the inspecting personnel, this is a
good sanitary landfill site.
2. You Have adequate equipment for an operation of this
nature having purchased a large earth moving machine
(cost approximately $18,000.) to compact and cover the
material at frequent intervals.
It is expected, that in the very near future, this site will
be operated as a sanitary landfill in accordance with Part 19 of the New
York State Sanitary Code.

WHEREAS, the 1965. budget of the .Town of Queensbury provided for an item
of $6,900.00 to bepaid to, the Trustees of Crandall Library for library
services furnished to the residents of the Township, and
WHEREAS, County Attorney,. ,Albert E. Beswick, has approved a contract
between the Town..of Queensbury 'and Crandall Library as set forth in
detail hereafter in these minutes, therefore be it
-- RESOLVED, that this contract between the Town of Queensbury and Crandall
Library for furnishing library service to. the , residents of the Town of
Queensbury for the fiscal year of 1965 is hereby approved, and be it

The LIBRARY agrees to furnish library services to the TOWN- and

The TOWN agrees to pay, .to the LIBRARY, during the TOWN 1965
calendar year,. which is also the fiscal- year., the sum of
Six Thousand Nine Hundred ($6,900.00) Dollars in consideration of the
library services to be furnished as hereinafter mentioned.
The afore.said ,sum of $6,900.00 shall be paid in such portions as
from time to time shall be requested by the LIBRARY.
-This agreement may be renewed each year and from year to year in
the following manner: .
The LIBRARY may notify the Supervisor of the TOWN on or before
the Lst .day-of...Sep.tember, of its desire to continue the agreement for
one additional year, and of any .ehange the LIBRARY wishsrs to make in
the 'terms of the agreement. The Supervisor•and,.'the Town Board may then,
by resolution, agree to continue the agreement for one additional year,
either with or without the changes requested by the LIBRARY. - Every year
this agreement is continued, a copy of the resolution-of _the Town Board
continuing the agreement, either as is or as amended, shall be attached
to the original copy,of this agreement, which will be filed in the
Town Clerk's office. "

WHEREAS, it is provided by statute that a Town Board-may appropriate
funds for the support of a public library in the Town, and
WHEREAS, Mountainside Free Library has rendered and furnished a free
library to the residents of-the Town of Queensbury for many years,
Now, Therefore, it. is mutually covenanted and agreed as follows:
1. The Town Board of the Town of Queensbury agrees to pay to the
Trustees of Mountainside Free Library, at Dunhams Bay, N.Y. , the sum of
Two Hundred Dollars , ($200 00)_,,to.be applied by the Trustees, for the
support and operation-of the-Library.
2. The aforesaid payment shall be made quarterly during the year
1965 and the Trustees shall file with the Town Clerk of the Town of
Queensbury prior to December 31, 19653,' a statement of the application
of the aforesaid funds.
3. In consideration of the said payment, the Trustees agree to
maintain a free public library service for the residents of the
Town of Queensbury at its library.premises at Dunhams Bay, N.Y. during
the year 1965.
