The meeting was declared open at 7:30 p. m.
The following visitors were greated by Supervisor John 0. Webster.

Supervisor Webster opened the hearing at this time.
Proof of publication was read by the Clerk.
The Legal notice of the hearing was read by the Clerk.
Mr. Charles Klein spoke to re-affirm the feeling of all the residents of
._ the section involved. The group in its entirety are in favor of the
adoption of the Ordinance as written.
With no persons appearing in objection to the proposed Ordinance,
Supervisor Webster declared the hearing to be closed. The necessary
resolution to adopt the ordinance will be acted upon at a later date.
AttorneyCippolo. expressed thanks to the town Board for its favorable
action to adopt the proposed ordinance.
The minutes of all previous meeting up - to January 7th, were approved.
Carried unamiously.
Councilman Beaty, presented a request from the Recreation Commission
which would- secure applicants for a supervisor for the coming year to
carryout the activities as planned by the commission.
The following recommendation was submitted by Councilman Beaty.

The insurance on The Town of Queensbury is up for renewal in February,

It is the recommendation of The Insurance Committee that Cool
Insurance Agency of 24 Maple..Street, Glens Falls, N.Y. , be retained
as the writing agent for the coming year. Also, it is. recommended
that E. Leo Spain Agency of Ridge Street, Glens Falls, N.Y.,, continue
to be the writing agent for fire insurance-on the town storehouse
and well house.

RESOLUTION TO DESIGNATE INSURANCE AGENT FOR YEAR
RESOLUTION N0, 31 Introduced by Mr. Beaty, seconded by Mr. Turner.
WHEREAS, it has been the custom to° designate an agent to be. the
writing agent for the Town of Queensbury for--Town Insurance. business
for a period of three years, now therefore be. it
RESOLVED, that the Cool Insurance Agency, 24 Maple Street, Glens Falls,
New York be the writing agent for the insurance requirements of the
town for the year 1965, with the exception that the fire .insurance.,
po-licies now written by the E. Leo Spain Agency under annual in- . .
stallments are to be continued with the Spain Agency.

Noes - None
Supervisor Webster, reported on the invitation of Supervisor Connelly
of the Town of Kingsbury, to attend a joint meeting on a proposed
study of Water Supply in the area. The Board in its entirety
delegated. .CouncilA Turner and Robertson to attend the meeting on
behalf of the Town of Queensbury. --.
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE PAYMENT
RESOLUTION N0, 32, Introduced by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Lampson.
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to
pay the -1965 County and Town tax in the amount of $15.97 on the
property purchased by the Town, from Kenneth McKinney.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr. Beaty, Mr. Turner, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Webster.
Noes - None
Mr. Thomas Flaherty, Superintendent of the Queensbury Water District
presented information on a thawing device which could be used for
thawing hydrants within the town of Queensbury. General approval
was reached by the Town Board, that a purchase of the piece of
equipment is approved.
Mr. Flaherty also reported on results of the well drilling tests
being conducted at the well site by Chapman Brothers Well Drillers. _J
RESOLUTION TO SET SALARY OF DOG WARDEN
RESOLUTION NO. 33, Introduced by Mr. Lampson, seconded by Mr. Robertson
RESOLVED, that the salary of the Dog Warden for the Town of Queensbury
for the year 1965 be and is hereby fixed at the amount of $600.per year.

RESOLVED, that the bonds of the following Town Officers of the
Town- of Queensbury are hereby approved as to form, amount,
sufficiency of surety and manner of execution, as follows:

95-67-90 Glens Falls Insurance Herbert-E.Corlew, Jr. 4,000.00
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the members of the Town Board sign a
certificate to that- effect upon each public bond above described.

RESOLUTION NO. 34, Introduced by Mr. Beaty, seconded by Mr. Robertson.
RESOLVED, that the Audit of Claims as listed in Abstract #65-1A
numbered 2 through 110 and totaling $11,166.95 is hereby approved.

The most up to date plans of the proposed Town Office Building were
studied at this time.

Mr. Newman E. Wait, Jr. was introduced by Attorney Donald Borth of the
Lake George Park Commission. Mr. Wait presented a petition to the
Town Board which would establish zoning in a section of the Lake George
Park within the Town of Queensbury.
