WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board serves as the Town's Local Board of Health and
is authorized by Town Code Chapter 136 to issue variances from the Town's On-Site Sewage
Disposal Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, Joyce and Ronald Egnaczyk (Applicants) have applied to the Local Board of
Health for variances from Chapter 136 to install a replacement wastewater system as follows:
1. Septic tank to be 6.3' from the structure instead of the required 10' setback;
2. Pump station to be 8.6' from the structure instead of the required 10' setback;
3. Absorption field to be 1.3' from the northern property line instead of the required
10' setback;
4. Absorption field to be 14.3' from the structure instead of the required 20' setback;
and
5. Absorption field to be 94' from the westerly neighbors' well instead of the required
100' setback;
on property located at 114 Sunnyside North in the Town of Queensbury,

RESOLVED, that the Town of Queensbury's Local Board of Health will hold a public
hearing on Monday, November 191h, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Queensbury Activities Center, 742
Bay Road, Queensbury, to consider Joyce and Ronald Egnaczyk's sewage disposal variance
application concerning property located at 114 Sunnyside North, Queensbury (Tax Map No.:
279.17-2-14)and at that time all interested persons will be heard, and

Dear Supervisor Strough & Town Board Councilmen:
This office represents Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Egnaczyk with respect to the pursuit of wastewater
variance for installation of a replacement absorption bed within 94 ft of a upgradient neighboring
well. Presently the home is served by a 500-gallon plastic septic tank and a seepage pit which is
in failure and there is no location within the parcel where a compliant wastewater system can be
installed.
We are proposing installing a new 1,000-gallon septic tank, new pump station and a new 12 ft
wide by 20 ft long stone absorption bed.
Relief is requested for the installation of the septic tank 6.3 ft from a structure, pump station 8.6
feet from a structure, absorption bed 1.3 feet from the north property line, absorption bed 14.3
feet from the structure and absorption bed 94 feet from a neighbors upgradient well.
Enclosed please find nine submission packages for this project. We respectfully request, if
possible, that this item be placed upon the agenda of the next town board meeting. Please
