My interest in youth and recreation .stems from early j experience as a junior assistant scout master when I was still in high school. Since that time I have devoted my time to youth through my work in education, having worked with youngsters from the junior high school through my present position at the Adirondack Community College. More specifically, I worked as assistant program director for the summer recreation program of the Binghamton Boys' Club one summer following college. , In Ilion, N. Y., before coming to Glens Falls, I worked as chairman of a community committee to establish a youth center. I also served for several years on the Board of Directors of the Mohawk Valley Y. M. C.
