Mr. LeRoy Phillips was granted the floor to offer a suggestion, that special_policemen the follr should w be appointed in the Town of Queensbury. A*suggestion of owing persons was advanced by Mr. Phillips. __Roger N.ichalson 4 Prospect Drive Scott Hopkins Richardson Street Mr. Arthur Norton of the firm of Milton L. Crandall Architects for the proposed new Town Office Building, visited the meeting._ at this time. Mr. Norton presented 'the 'latest plans for the construction. Details in general were discussed at length by the Architect. The following tentative estimates on construction were presented at this time. Heat, Plumbing "and Electric $38,000 General Construction $90,000 Should Air Conditioning be desired during construction the following quotation was made Air Conditioning $20,000 A. letter was presented from the State of New York, Department of Commerce to do with the application for the approval of Project #B-76 which will ultimately bring forth approval' of the consultants on future planning in conjunction with the Planning Board ,of the Town k of Queensbury. A discussion took place at this time on 'the activity of the Planning Board up to this date. (Mrs.) Doris Maynard cc: Mr. King Reid Mr. Lampson reported on the progress of the installation of the equipment necessary to install the blinker lights, _which were previously authorized at the intersections of Glenwood Avenue and Dix Avenue with the Quaker Road. l 1 Mr. Beaty and Mr. Codner reported on the request, of the residents involved, to continue with the installation of the extensions to 1 the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District. Mr. Codner presented quotations on the pipe which would be necessary to -install the above mentioned extensions. Mr. Webster suggested that the engineer, Mr. Joseph A. Kestner, Jr. , should be contacted before any further steps be taken. The Superintenftnt of Highways recommended the- immediate repair of the storm sewers system in Garrison Road, which has caused considr°ra`)!(� trouble in the past.
