The meeting was. called to order at 7:30 p.m.,

The public hearing was declared open to do with the application of
Kenneth Bonner , to locate a Mobile Home outside of a duly licensed
Mobile Home Court.

Proof of publication was read by the clerk.
The notice as published was read by the clerk.
The application of Mr-., Bonner was read by the clerk.;
The Supervisor asked for persons to speak in favor of the application.
Mrs. Richard Hoague stated that she felt that applicant should have
the priviledge of placing the mobile home at the stated location.
Mr. Bonner was granted the floor. A statement was advanced by Mr.
— Bonner to announce that he has sold his present home. It is the
intent of the applicant to improve the property in question; the mobile
home will also be kept is good repair.
Supervisor Webster requested opinions against the locating of this
mobile home .
Mrs. Francis Anauo-stated that by placing the mobile home at the
suggested location would tend to-reduce the appraised value of their
home.
Mr. Roderick Wheeler made the statement that in his opinion the mobile
home-in question would reduce the value of his property. A statement
was also forth coming from Mr. Wheeler that he didnot believe that
locating this mobile home was a necessity for the applicant.
Mr. -L. J, Norton of West Mountain Road spoke to the Town $oard in
reference to the fact that in his opinion the location of a mobile
home in,the neighborhood would be a detrement to property values inthe
area.
Mr, Bonner was questioned. by the .town board as to what his plans were
at present on the disposition of the balance of the lots at the location
of the mobile home in question at this time.
Mr. L. J. Norton stated that all of his property is restricted as to
the locating of mobile homes on same.
The hearing was declared closed at this time.
Attorney Donald Borth of the fake George Park Commission visited the
meeting at this time.
A group of representatives of the Assembly Point Association were
greeted by the Town Board at this time. Mr. Lysle Morton was introduced
as the President of the Association, who spoke for' the group. A petition
was presented to the town board ,to request a zoning ordinance in certain
sections along the shores of Lake George.

PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 13-C of GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW
We, the undersigned hereby petition the Town Board of the Town of
Queensbury, Warren County, New York, to establish by ordinance a
residential area within the Lake George Park in the area which is
described as follows:

Beginning on the westerly shore of Harris Bay, Lake
George, at the southeasterly corner of lands of Louis J.
Southard and the northeasterly corner of lands of Witham
Enterprises and Associates, running from thence in a
westerly direction along the southerly bounds of the
said lands of Southard and the northerly bounds of' the
said lands of Witham to the southwesterly corner of the
said Southard and the southeasterly corner of the lands
of John G. McCormick; thence running westerly, being a
continuation of the preceeding course, along the north-
erly bounds of the said lands of Witham and the south-
erly bounds of the said lands of McCormack to a point in I
• the easterly bounds of the lands of Leander H. Brayton;
thence running southerly along the easterly bounds of the —1
lands of the said Brayton and the westerly bounds of the
said Witham to a point -in the northerly bounds of lands
of Isales L. Coon; thence running in an easterly direction
along the southerly bounds of the lands of the said Witham
and a portion of the northerly bounds of the said lands
of Isalea L. Coon to a concrete monument in the northerly
bounds of New York State Highway number 9-L, known as the
Fort George - Brayton Connecting Highway; thence running

the Town of Queensbury to the northeasterly corner there-
of, being also the southeasterly corner of lands of
Robert S. Henry; thence running westerly along the north- •
erly bounds of the lands of the Town of Queensbury and
the southerly bounds of the lands of Robert S. Henry,
crossing the present Assembly Point Road and the former •
road, to the northeasterly corner of the lands now or
formerly of Gertrude .P. Scales; thence running southerly
along the easterly bounds of the lands now or formerly
of Gertrude P. Scales, the easterly bounds of the lands
of Christian Dantsizen and the easterly bounds of the
lands of Ida M. Peppard to the southeasterly corner ,
thereof; thence running-westerly along the southerly
bounds of the lands of the said Peppard and the north-
erly bounds of the lands of William H. Gleason' to the
easterly shore of Dunham's Bay, Lake George; thence run-
ning along the shore of Lake George, as the same winds
and turns, northerly, northeasterly, southerly and south-
easterly to the point and place of beginning.
That the undersigned•petitioners seek to prohibit the use of all
property within the above described area for all industrial and
commercial purposes except that any residence within the said area
may be leased or rented for single, private family residential
purposes.
This petition shall be known as Assembly Point Petition and is
to be executed in eight parts and all parts are identical.
The above petition wag signed by 160 persons. The total amount of
assessed property owned by persons who signed the petition is
$9612140.00.

A discussion on a recently delivered home in, two parts within the
Town of .Queensbury would be considered a mobile home. Their is no
restrictions in the recently adopted Mobile Home Ordinance which
would restrict same.
The minutes of the meeting of September 24, 1964 were approved by the
Town-Board.

The report on the sale of the Queensbury Water District Bonds was

A letter was received and placed on file from Skane & Chambers Attorney's
in reference to the deeds of roads now owned by the Town of Weensbury,
in a proposed development known as "Third Street Extension. The
Supervisor presented a copy,- "of the letter in answer to the questions
which were advanced by the' above mentioned.. attorney's.
The Town Board acting ,as the:°Board �of Health received a letter-_which
was placed on file from Dr. Edward C. Elsey and in turn received a
follow-up letter to the Health Officer of the Town of Queensbury,
Dr. Robert A. Reid. The nature of the question being discussed has to
do with whether or not sewage matter from several homes as well as
commercial locations is reaching -the waters of Lake George.
The two proposals of local Veternarian' s to furnish care and disposal
of dogs being picked up within the town was discussed at this time.
Following study the final contract will be prepared by Albert E. Beswick
Attorney for the Town of Queensbury.

Following discussion it was decided that a decision on the matter of
the locating of a mobile home on Mountain View Lane by a Mr. Kenneth
Bonner, would be deferred•.to a. later date..
Mr. H. Russell Harris approached the Town. Board with a request to
place street lights over ,town highways in his development known
as"Rainboe Ridge". It was understood that Mr. Harris wotIld attempt
to-enter into a contract for these lights with the Niagara Mohawk
Power Company.
The board is its entirety voiced approval of the plan with the under-
standing that the costs of operation would be paid by the developer.

the Preliminary Budget will be completed.
