The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pj,m.
The Supervisor disclosed that a report has been submitted by County Attorney, -
Albert E. Beswick to do with the arrrangemeats which are being made with the
County of Warren to obtain the sight for the location of a storage tank near
the Westmoust Saaftorimm for the proposed Qaeeusbury Water District.
Resolutions will be offered at the next meeting of the Warren County Board
of : ruisorrs to substantiate this permission which is important at this
time. Discussion,took palace concerning the possibility of securing an
easement trot property runners from the sight of the pumping station to
Saute 9 which will be the pathway of the master main which will feed the
water districts of the Town. of Qieensbury upon completion of the project.
A decision as to the most feasible pathway for the supply line will be
decided upon to ultimately accomplish the start of the construction *f
the proposed water system.
Mr. Webster, presented copies of letters both directed to and received
from Representative Carlton J. King on the subject of the application farr
financial assistance on the proposed Town Office Building project.
RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING CONTINGENT FUNDS TO THE GE MAL FUND
RESOLUTION ED. 57 introduced by Mr. Beaty, seconded. by Mr. Akins
WAS, under RESOLUTION 161 in 1962, the Town Board did appoint a
Town Planning, Board and,
, Board provision was made in the 1963 budget for expenses of the
Planning RE BE IT RESOLVED, that there be created under the General Fund
as appropriation of $ 2OO.D0 for OF THE TOW PLANNING BOARD,
and that paid sum. of $ 200.00 be, transferred from the contingent fund
for the purpose of creating such an appropriation.

WHEREAS, in the spring of 1962, there was a disastrous ground fire in the
Town of Qmeensbury which required the services of more than 30 volunteer
fire companies under mutual aid and

that unusual expenses incurred in extinquishing this fire are a proper

THERZORE BE IT RESOLVED;, that there be created an appropriation of
$300.00 for TOW FIRE PROTECTION EI'ENSESS INCURRED UNWR MUTUAL AID,
under Hi.scellaneoms Sapenses of the General Fund, and that said sum of
$300 be transferred from the contingent fond for the purpose of
creating such appropriation.

The Supervisor reported that the equalization mate for the Town of *W6U iry
for the year 1962, has been tentatively set at 39. A,public hearing;-will be
conducted at Albany on the 26th day of March 1963. The Supervisor suggested
that a protest 'should be voiced'at Chid time. The board in_general_sired

WEOY S, the Town of Queensbury, presently has available and on deposit
in the General FJmd,' in the Glens Falls National Bank & Trust 'Compamy the
sum of $95.,000 OO v'hich was realized through sale of Town property, there-
fore be it
RESOLVED, that the Town of Queensbury invest the sun of $95,000.00 for the
General lend in a certificate of deposit of the Glens Falls National Bank
& Trust CoManys for six mouths 'at 'an interest rate of ..035 per annum, and
be it further
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed
to draw a'check do the Gensral Paid°for the investment of such-certificate
of deposit, but further provided that such certificate be secured as
provided by' Section-31, Of the General Municipal Lax, and be it further
RESE Ms that the Supervisor is'hereby authorized to continue said
certificate of deposit at the same rate of interest and with the same
pledge of security;- until such funds shall be required for other use.
