Copies can be obtained at either of these addresses upon pay-
ment of $50 for each set. Any.,unsuccessful bidder, upon re-
turning such set promptly and ,i.n good condition, will be re-
funded his payment, and any non-bidder, upon returning such a
set, will be refunded $25.

Mr. Codner, the Superintendent of Highways stated to the board
that the special improvements for-the year 1963, are nearing
completion.
RESOLUTION NO. 90 introduced by Mx. Turner, seconded by Mr. Akins
RESOLVED, that the Town Highway Superintendent is •hereby authorized
to attend the School for Highway Superintendents being conducted
by the Town and County Officers Training School at Cornell
University at Ithaca, N. Y. June 24, 25, . and 26, 1963, and that
the actual necessary expenses incurred be a proper Town charge.

The meeting was called to order at 7 :30 p. m.
A general discussion on the future progress of the Planning Board
in the Town of Queensbury took place at this time. The cost of
adapting the plan. was discussed at length with all members of the
Town Board taking part. The opinion§: of the residents of the
Town of Queensbury which habe been voiced were disclose$ by all
members of the Town Board. The possible effect on the over-all
tax base in the town, was discussed at length at this time. A
general voicing of opinions from each member of the Town Board
was forthcoming. Plans were laid to invite a representative of
a neighboring town;, which has already adopted a planning and
zoning program to a meeting with the Town Board of Queensbury
at an early date. Definite action on the matter of the Planning
Board was deferred to a later date.

Mr. Joseph A. Kestner, Jr. , engineer for Queensbury Water District
and Mr. Bernard Codner the Superintendent of Highways visited the
Meeting at this time.
A general discussion on the proposed Contract with Mr. Kestner
was aired at this time. All points of the contract were studied.
All points of the contract were studied. A revision of the
contract to a Per Diem basis on payments for work accomplished
was agreed upon with the engineer. The understanding was
reached that the same maximum costs of operations would still
apply. The contract will be drawn up and signed by members of
the Town Board at a later date. Same will then be submitted
to Housing and Home Finance Company for approval.
Following the results of the recent disastrous fire in the
City of Glens- Falls ; the suggestion was made to the engineer
that all possible effort should be made to establish inter-
connections with City Water mains at several points within
the Town of Queensbury. This plan would be carried out on a
mutual cost basis.
Mr. Codner, discussed the progress of the efforts of the
Highway Department at present. Several problems were aired
to the board at this time.

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p. m.
An agreement with Thomas Rogers, developer of Ridge Meadows
subdivision,, was presented to the Town Board to be filed at the
Warren County Clerk's office by the clerk. The agreement in-
volves the relinguishing of the right of ownership to the water
mains which were offeted to the Town of Queensbury at an earlier
date.
-THIS INDENTURE made this 29th day of May, 1963 between
TOM ROGERS, of Ridge Road, Glens Falls, New York, party of the
first part, and TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, a municipal corporation in
the County of Warren and State of New York, acting for and in
behalf of Queensbury Water District, party of the second part,
WITHNESSETH that, in consideration of the sum of $1.00 lawful
money of the United States of America, paid by the party of the
second part to the party of the first part, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, and other valuable considerations, the
party of the first part releases, grants and conveys to the party
of the second part all of his right, titles and interest in a nd to
a certain water main commencing at the intersection of the city
line of the City of Glens Falls and the town line of the Town of
Queensbury on Wilson Street, running thence northerly along
Wilson Street to Cline Avenue; thence easterly on Cline Avenue to
Meadowbrook Road and thence northerly on Meadowbrook Road to a
point where said main enters the subdivision known as Ridge Meadows,
and also any and all water mains theretofore installed by the party
of the first part in Ride Meadows subdivision, together with the
right to operate, maintain and replace said mains to the same ex-
tent as though the party of the second part had originally in-
stalled such mains.
