The meeting was called to order by the` Supervisor at 7:35 P.M.
A discussion was had respecting incineration disposal and other
methods of disposal. W. Duers and Robert Kruge were present and
reported that the water to residence on Buana Vista Avenue was fro-
zen and in connection and herewith a further discussion was had re-
specting the formation of a water district in order that the consumers
in the area have the necessary and proper service to insure a continuous
supply of water.
Mr. Higgins who was present at the last meeting woes also present at this
meeting and submitted orally computations to show the probable cost to
the Town of Queensbury of an incineration plant under various circum-
stances pertaining to the operation of the plant and the amount of dis-
posal. Mr. Higgins upon the request from Mr. Akins agreed tp reduce the i
computations to writing and submit the computations in writing to Mr.
Akins showing such cost.
The clerk reported that notice had been received of an $nju2j to a. vol-
unteer fireman named Donald Tromblee who is an active member of the West
Glens Falls Volunteer Fire Company Inc. #1, occurred on February 1st, 1961.

Mr. Codner recommended that two days of paid vacation be allowed to
the Highway employees of the Town of Queensbury. The Board, however,
felt that such arrangement should be had respecting other employees who
are paid on an hourly basis.
Resolution Igo. 29 introduced by Mr, Akins, seconded by Mr. Lampson

RESOLVED that the Town employees paid on a hourly basis after one

year of continuous employment by the Town shall be allowed two
days paid vacation namely July 4th and December 25th in each year.

Supervispr Webster reported that several of the Town Officers
of Queensbury had attended the Association of Town's Annual
Meeting Jaeld in Buffalo on February 6th, 7th and 8th, 1961,
The Board generally discussed the effects of the change of the
�i classification of the ToWn from a second class town to a first
class tom.
A_ further discussion was had respecting the claim of the Town of
Queensbury against the State of New York for property appropriated
in eonnect�on. with the constructj.on of the Northway.
Resolution No. 30, introduced by Mr. Akins and ieconded by Mr.

+ RESOLVED that the Supervisor be and is hereby authorized
-- an -directed to pay- the -University of the State of New York,
State Educational Agency, for surplus property the-sitinf4f$3.00
for surplus property described as GSA, Report Number 67-1 Screen,
projection, portable, size 114" wide and 85" high as described
in- the invoice.

Supervisor Webster reported in connection with the .Equalization
Rates that the Town of Queensbury,represented by Mr. Bartlett
will*,fappear at the hearing to be held in Albany on February 15th,
-- 196i,and endeavored to have the Equalization Rate for the Town
of ,Queensbury raised.
A discussion was had respecting the property which was conveyed
by one dhapman to the Town of Queensbury near the plug mill on
the Dixon Road and at location of the southeasterly boundry line

The supervisor called the meeting to order at 7:3Q P.M.
A discussion was had on the facts of .the .change from second class. town
to first class town respecting the structure of Tcw Government.

An application was received from Leon Dean for the renewal of a junk
yard ,license on the Corinth Road, and, the- supervisor submitted applic-
ation on behalf of Howard, Ladd.
Resolution No. 31 ,introduced by Mr. Akins and seconded by Mr. Lampson
RESOLVED that Junk yard licenses for the following be and are hereby
renewed for the year 1961. And that the- supervisor be and is huthorized. and
directed to renew such licens.es. -
