Town of Queensbury /,►�'' -- Queensbury Town Office Building Bay Road Glens Falls, New York 12801 Att: Building Department, Mack Dean Re: Addition and Alterations to Basketville Rt. 9 Dear Mack: We have had discussions with the owner of the above referenced project and he has decided to provide a full sprinkler system for the existing building and the addition. With this proposed change we will inform you that the owner will be providing a building as detailed in our original submission to the Town. The size of the building will not change but we will be providing the opened atrium as originally depicted and the proposed block fire wall between the new and existing building will be eliminated. As you are aware, by providing the sprinkler system in the building we are able to go with a larger fire area without the fire wall separation. We are also allowed by code to have the atrium and opened stairway to the second level. Additionally, the proposed block fire wall separating the storage from the main floor display area will become a wood framed fire separation. We will be forwarding copies of the proposed sprinkler drawings to your office upon receipt and approval by Richard E. Jones Associates.
