authorized- and directed to install approximately 650 ft. of 61" cast
iron pipe in Carleton Drive and Aviation Road,, and approximately 1300
ft., of 6" cast iron pipe on Fourth Street .Extension, and approximately
8.00 ft. 64 cast iron pipe on Montray Road with the necessary fire hy-
drants,, gate valves, tees and plugs.

expenses of town officials attending this meeting are- legitimate general
town charges. However, attendance should be approved in advance by a town
board resolution.

A discussion was had relating to the amount of money which was being paid
to the New York State Employees' Retirement System for the Town share. The
matter was generally discussed, . The matter was referred to the Supervisor
to write to the Retirement System respecting the amount of the Town share.

the holding of a Statewide Conference on Problems concerning
Water Resources.
We feel that towns with water supply problems would benefit by having a
representative attend this conference.. It will be held at Syracuse University
. oh December 10th and llth. We enclose a program and a registration form
to be used in making. reservations.
We also enclose two issues of• "Your Water Service"' compiled quarterly
by the American Water Works Association, with the thought that you might
find the same of interest.

Dear Miss Turner:
We have your letter of November 11 with attached resolution of the
Town Board, Town of Queensbury, regarding traffic conditions on Route
9 at its junction with the Farm to Market Road. The resolution expres-
ses the opinion that signs and markers currently in place provide
inadequate warning of the junction of the two roads. The resolution
requests that conditions be reviewed with the thought_of prQvi.din.g
traffic signs which are suitable and adequate.
Unfortunately, the resolution identifiers the side road involved only

carried out,, and that the Town as a whole respecting such dwellings was
in good shape.
