Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District," and

residents within the boundaries of said district, and a map having been
filed, and 'a public hearing having been resolved to be held,, and due
proof 'of publication; in 2 local newspapers, and of posh 4 din 5 public
places in said Town having been fileds, and it appearing that the
property owners,_withIn the district are benefited there -and that it
is within the public interest to gpant the relief asked for in said
petition,, and at said public hearing on September 6, 1958., no one
appearing in opposition thereto, aid due-deliberation having been had,
it is
RESOLVED that the relief asked for in said petition be and the
same hereby is granted and the establishment of a sewer district to be
known as the "Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District," is approved.

to be published a notice. to read as follows:
NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received
by than Town Board of the- Town of Queensbury up to 7:30 p.m. on the
t 24th day of September,, 1958 to supply the said Town of Queensbury with
the following-.:
E Roof a built up roof,, approximately ,4100 sq, feet to be
- installred complete with flashing on the Town of Queensbury Store- I
houses Aviation Rd. ,, in said town - Roof. to carry twenty-year
guarantee bond. Proposals shall state in detail number of plys and
details of installation..
Doors r►- To supply and install six over-head doors for Highway 1
Stare--house, Aviation Rd.,, in said town. Doors to consist of -2-
14 x 14 and 4- 12 x 14 doors. All doors to be manually operated
chain hoist-Each door to contain one glassed section.
Heating -• To supply- and install a minimum of 4 gas fired unit
heaters with automatic controls in Town Storehouse , Aviation Rd. ,, in
said town. Heaters to be capable of.hol.ding at least 60 degree temp-
erature inside with a 20 degree below outside.
The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids
received.

take appropriate action thereon.

Ralph Nestle, Town Assessor, was present and spoke briefly requesting
the Town Board to acquire by purchase a single letter file at a cost
of $14 with separators costing $3. The Board generally discussed the
matter with him.
Resolution No. 94 introduced by Justice Akins, seconded by Councilman

RESOLVED that Mr. Nestle be and is hereby authorized and directed
to purchase for use in the office of Mr. Nestle , Assessor,. a letter
filing cabinet including separators at a cost not to exceed $20.00.

Mr. Nestle in a further discussion suggested that a tax may be prepared
r for the Town of Queensbury. The matter was taken under advisement.
Councilman Miller brought up the matter of water contracts respecting
the supplying of water to the several districts and extensions in the
T(nin of Queensbury by the City of Glens Falls He said that ne felt
that an offer should be made b y the Ton -at this time.

WHEREAS the Water Commissioners of the City of Glens Falls have
presented the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury with a proposed
j contract for the sale of water to the water districts and extensions
thereof within the Team of Queensbury, and the contracts in their general
form are acceptable. with the exception of the price per thousand gallons
which is stated in the contract as 20¢ per thousand gallons. Therefore,
be it
RESOLVED .that we,, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, on
behalf of". the -water districts and extensions thereof, accept the con-
tracts with the price per thousand gallons established at' 16y . per
thousand gallons.

Mr. Miller raised the question of the sanitary sewer in the Reservoir
Sanitary Sewer District. The matter was generally discussed.
Mr. Harris,, chairman, instructed Mr. Miller to continue to work on
the Reservoir Park Sewer District until proper deeds were obtained
and presented, and to make a report at the September meeting.
