Supervisor Stec-Opened the Meeting
1.0Discussion
Director of Building and Codes Dave Hatin spoke to the Board on
Seasonal High Ground Water Determination
Discussion held on In Season Ground Water Testing between the time line of

March 15 and June 30 when the water tables are at their highest… Out of
season groundwater testing would be done on a case by case basis.
2.0Discussion
Main Street Gateway Treatments
Executive Director of Community Development Marilyn Ryba-Spoke to the
Board on the following issues:
A. Gateway Welcome Center Kiosk – approximate cost $150,000
After discussion the Board felt the project could receive a lot of usage, concerned
about the cost of the Kiosk, still to be looked into.
3.0` Discussion
Queensbury Village Mobile Home Park
Executive Director of Community Development Marilyn Ryba-Spoke to the
Board regarding the proposal of Queensbury Village Mobile Home Park to be
allowed to place double wide mobile homes at the Park.
Attorney Lapper-Representing the park owners, noted that this park is the only
mobile home park in New York State with the requirement for only single wide
mobile homes. Double wide homes are more aesthetically pleasing and the
market for single wide is low.
After discussion the Board agreed to turn the proposal over to the Queensbury
Planning Board for their opinion on a change in the Zoning Requirements.
4.0 Discussion
Risk Management Consultant Selection
Noted Budget Office Jennifer was not at this meeting

Councilman Sanford request that the Town look toward getting the best selection
for the money.
Board agreed to have further discussions on the Risk Management Consultant
Selection,
5.0 Discussion
Town Policy Regarding Doing Business Locally
Supervisor Stec-Noted that the Town Law does not allow preferential treatment to
local businesses.
Councilman Sanford also pointed out that the Town will not discriminate against
local suppliers.

RESOLVED,
that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby moves into an
Executive Session to discuss litigation involving French Mountain property owner Ralph
Macchio.
