butt' to grant vacations with pay to employees of the Highway Depart-
ment of the Town. of Queensbury who are compensated on a per diem or
hourly basis, now, therefore , be it

j RESOLVER„
That pursuant to Section 92 of the General Municipal Law
of the State of .New York, employees of the Highway Department of the
Town of-Queensbury be granted vacations with pay under the following
I conditions:
I
(1) Employees employed from six months to one year, a vacation
aggregating three days.
(2) Employment from one year to three years, a vacation aggregating
one week.
(3) Employment of three years or more , vacation aggregating two
weeks. 1--
(4) The amount of vacation pay to be a sum based on the, employees, Li
earnings for a 40 hour week at his hourly rate .. r
(5) Vacations shall be taken between'April 1 and December 31 in each
year commencing 19551, subject to the approval of the Town Superinten-
dent of Highways as to the exact time or times, except that the flown
Superintendent of Highways may accord an- emp�oyee, the whole or a
part of the vacation to which he is entitled, at a time pr3 or to
April lst in the year in which such employee is entitled to a vaca
ti on.

residents who did not have a physician in attendance.

6. Received numerous nuisance complaints concerning alleged vio-
lations of the Sanitary' Code, all of which were able to be

7. Personally collected numerous water samples for laboratory analy-
sis for potability.

Eugene Johnson was present and discussed with the Board his salary
and also the rental of machinery in connection with care of, the Town

Floyd Ellsworth was presented andpresented a deed conveying certain
lands to the Town of Queensbury for highway purposes„
The board also discussed with Mr. Ellsworth the water supply for test--
lands.
Mr. John Van Dusen, Town Surveyor, presented several maps of the area
for study.
