Mr. McGinley,, representing the Ft. Amherst Realty Co. , Mr. Metzner,
representing the Broadacres Corporation and Mr. Norman Beaty and Mr..
Leicht, among others, expressed their opinion in favor of granting the
rights to the Adirondack Transit Company,
Mr. E11sworth, Mr. Goldmanrand Mr. Gooch, among athers , spoke in Favor
of granting rights to Jesse Burger.
Some who were present, stated that they felt that service was needed and
that the service should be extended to ,include areas west of the junction
of Dixon Road with the Aviation Road as far as the West Mountain Road,.
A general` diseussion was had with an expression of opinion from various
people..
Mr. Leicht discussed among other things the proposals, . stating that he
represented the, Cottage Hill Association and they were in favor of the
Adirondack Transit Lines. George H, Savale, Jr..,, president of the Glen-
acres Association was present and also favored the Adirondack Transit
Lines.
Mr. Leicht presented a petition signed by 310 persons, members of the
Cottage Hill Civic League and the Glenacres Civic Association which ex-
pressed in favor of the Adirondack Transit Lines , Inc.
Mr. Harris stated that he would ask for an informal showing of hands as
to which carrier they favored. Mr. Ellsworth objected to the showing of
hands and stated that it was the duty of the Town Board to determine
what was in the best interests of the Town. Thereupon, a vote was taken
of which 98 hands were shown in favor of the Adirondack Transit Lines,
and 36 for the Burger Bus Lines.
After a discussion,, the Board adjourned to, meet at the Town Clerk's Office
on February 10th at 7:30. P.M.. to, consider, the proposals,, closing the

on the above date at 7:30 P.M4 at the Clerk's office, the following
members were present :

present in the matter of the financing of the cost of .installation
for Drainage District Now 1..
The following resolution Nn- -30-was offered by Mr. Lampson who moved
its adoption, seconded by -Mr. Bentley.. to- wit :
WHEREAS, in anticipation of the sale of $120,000 Drainage
District No. l (Serial) Bonds , 1953, of the Town of Queensbury, -
Warren County, New York, this Town Board has heretofore authorized
and issued $60,000 Bond Anticipation Note, 1952, numbered 1, dated a�
October 30, -1952 and maturing March 1, 1953, and $40,000 Bond
Anticipation Note, 1952, numbered 2, . dated December 22, 1952 and
maturing March 1, 1953, . and
v EWHEREAS, it is now necessary to provide for the renewal thereof,
by the issuance of one renewal note; -NOW, ,THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, by the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, Warren
