Ernest Lackey, Town Superintendent of Highways, also present. Sidney Van Dusen and Frank Cowles were present for discussion with the Town Beard regarding free ground in Pineview Cemetery behind the vault. After. discussion, the following resolution was adopted: Resolution No. 7i introduced by Justice Sleight , seconded by Justice Bentley:: RFMLM that there shall be: set off as free burial ground in the Pinevi$v_176metery a plot of ground 30" wide and 1001 long to the north and directly in the rear of the vault-in said cemetery. 'Such free ground. -is setA aff" for the purpose of interring persons who were, at the time of their decease, on County relief of the County of Warren. Mr.. and Mrs. Martel were present in reference to the Haavila4d Road ,%nd. stated that it had been recommended by the Soil Conservation that culverts be placed in driveways and cement bases and,;retalning walls be installed; that the new culverts placed in the road were not in accordance with proper drainage methods and that the ditch on the south side of the read be deepened to drain towards Half y Brook. It was also suggested that the Superintendent of Highways get in touch with the County Agent. , After some discussio4„ the Board members decided that ,they would view the culverts Wednesday-, August 269; 1953. Schoelermann by the Water Depart- ment of the City of Glens Falls, and WHEREAS there is presently .existing a need for two additional taps for.domestic use to be made, Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Town Board hereby re:.. quest permission of the Water Commissioners of. the City of Glens Falls to; sellL to the two additional taps for domestic use to be connected on the presently existing Schoelermann line. This investigation will. consist of a series of 'one mea- surmmit per month for a period of five (:5) months beginning with Arand ending with December, I953, on each of the f o llowi ng streams , J r Meadow Brook. at Route 9 Highway Bridge Fiadlock.
