WBE S: the Town Superintendent of Highways has made a written
recommendation that.
THE ROAD lying next to the property of John J. Miller and described
and-reserved for the use of the general public in a deed of Joseph Foster
to Iva Foster dated March 26, 1888 and recorded in the office of the
garren County Clerk on February 1, 1889 in Book No. 57 at page 8 and
situated between New York State Highway No.- 9 and a town road known as
the Pine View Cemetery road has owing to_changed conditions become dan-►
ge-rous .and- in fact useless and unecessary for the convenience andwelfare
of the public .and recommended its abandonment
NOW THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of
Queensbury. finds and hereby does find that the road owing to changed con-
ditions has become dangerous and in fact useless and unecessary for the
convenience and welfare of the public ; and the said board recommends the
abandonment of same.
Duly adopted; by the following vote :
Ayes - Mr. Bentley, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Sleight and Mr. Harris
Noes - none

The meeting was called to order at B` P.M,
Proof of publication of the resolution calling for, the public hearing filed.
Proof of posting of the order calling for the public hearing filed.
Bernard McPhillips, of the law offse6 6,f Xtte Y illips , Fitzgerald and McCarthy
appeared. on behalf of the petitioners John. Schoelermann, and George Dumont.
Petitioners Vere also. present. *FY6rLk Van Sittert was also present. _The
foregoing persons appeared in favor of the application and no one appeared
opposing the proposed extension.
The following order establishing the extension was presented:
Before the Town Board of the
Town of Queensbury
Warren County, New York
In the matter of the extension of the
k North Glens Falls Water District in Order establishing
the Town of Queensbury, Warren County, Extension
t New York.
A petition in this matter for the extension of the North Glens
Falls Water District having been duly presented to the Town Board
together with the necessary map or sketch attached thereto, and an
Order having been duly adopted by the Town Board on the 24th day of i
October, 1953,. for the hearing of all persons interested in the mat-
ter on the 12th day of November, 1953, at 8 o'clock in the p.m. at
the Town Clerk's office of said town., and a hearing by the said Board
having been duly held at such time and place, and it having been. duly
resolved and determined following such hearing that the petition herein
was signed and acknowledged or proved as .required by law and -other-
wise sufficient that all the property and,property owners within the
proposed extension Were benefited thereby, that all property and prop-
erty owners benefited were included within the limits of the proposed
extension, and that it was in the public interest to grant in whole
the. relief sought, and it having been then and there further duly re-
solved that the establishment of such district, as proposed be approved,
and no Order or consent being required from the State Department of
Audit and Control for the reason that there is to be no expenditure
of public funds; it is hereby,
ORDERED that the said North Glens Falls Water District. in the
said Town of- Queensbury, Warren County, New York, be-extended, as
described in the Order made by the Town Board on the 24th day of
October, 1953, to .be designated as Extension No 3 of the North Glens
Falls Water District, in the Town of Queensbury and to be of the foll-
owing description and boundaries:
Commencing at a point on the southerly side of -
Aviation Field road marking the westerly boundary
line of the present North Glens Falls Water District„

.s. and running thence in a westerly-direction along
the southerly side of said Aviation Field road
813 feet more or less to a point marking the
northwesterly premiges owned by John H. and Johanne
Schoelermann; running thence in a general southerly
direction along the westerly boundary of lands of
said Schoelermann 220 feet more or less to the
southwesterly corner thereof; running thence in an
easterly direction along the south boundary line
of lands of said Schoelermann and lands of George
and Stella Dumont, and continuing on the same
course a distance of 820 feet more or less to the
westerly boundary line of the present existing
North Glens Falls Water District; running thence,-
northerly along the westerly bounds of said North
Glens Falls Water District 200 feet more or less
to the point and place of beginning.
