1953-12-15 14 Section 6. Penalties . Every violation of any of the provisions of thi ° ordinance shall be a misdemeanor and upon. conviction thereof,. such person shall be subject to a fine of not more than $100.00 or imprisonment for a period of not more than three months or both. Every, violation of any provision or condition of any permit issued j and granted by the Town-Board of the Town of Queensbury to any person pursuant to this ordinance as hereinbefore provided shall be deemed to be a violation of this ordinance and shall be a misdemeanor and be pun.ishible as herein provided, and in addition upon conviction of such violation,, the Town Board shall have the power by resolution to 'reveke any such permit. The Town Board shall also have the p(mler to enfbrce' this ordinance by civil action for injunction. Section 7. The judgement of any court of competent jurisdiction that any. partion of this ordinance is invalid shall not invalidate the whole ordinance but only that part thereof declared to be invalid and the remainder of thus ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. Section 8. This ordinance shall take effect ten days after s publication and, posting as provided by the Town Law.. That it is hereby cbtermined that old-age and survivors ' insurance coverage should not be extended to the following class or classes of officers- and employees because of impracticability, and that such class or classesshall continue to be eligible for membership in the New York State Employees ' Retirement System.
