new entrance onto Quaker Road would like to take advantage of the Hannaford
traffic light. Would create an entrance onto Quaker Road from Adirondack
Nautilus, across from the entrance to Hannaford. Mr. Schermerhorn would make
improvements to manage runoff into the Halfway Brook. Town Board members
noted they would be willing to discuss the idea once they had a better idea of what
the plans are for the property. Mr. Schermerhorn noted to attract a quality national

for the property.
WGF VFC GEAR LOAN AND TOWER FUNDING REQUEST
Mike Gordon, West Glens Falls Volunteer Fire Company Chief asked the board
for a loan of $74,000 to buy 55 new sets of gear over the course of a few years, to
replace old gear and outfitting 15 to 20 new members who have joined the
company in the last year. Town Board members said they would rather see the
cost covered by the company-operating budget. Supervisor Stec recommended
Mr. Gordon to find out how much the first ten sets would cost, Town Board to
discuss this at a future meeting. Discussion held regarding the truck. Councilman
Sanford noted they are not dealing with any of the companies until after they get
settled in with the operational budgets. At that particular point and time, we will
be working with Councilman Strough to try to put criteria together for prioritizing
acquisitions thinks it would be premature to get into any discussion regarding
request for tower truck.
