The board convened at 7::30 P.M.
The proof of publication of the 11-otice to hold a public hearing upon the
recommendation of the Superitntenden.t of Highways for the purchase of a
truck was read and filed.
Mr. Toomey of the Comac Sales was present and stated that he represented
the Chevrolet dealer in Glens Falls and would like an opportunity to
submit a' proposal to supply the Tam with a truck of comparable size.
Phil Kitio_f of the Carswell Sales & Service also requested an opportunity
to submit a proposal
Fred Shaefer of the Parsons Auto Sales was present and stated he--would
like an opportunity to bid.
In discussion, Mr. Lackey was advised that since he had a Ford to turn
in, the purchase of- another Ford would probably be a better deal.
