Fred B, Chapman was present and discussed with the Board the condition of the Dixon Read in reference to taking part of his land to partially eliminate a curve. He said he was asking no money damage but that he would desire that the Board convey to him a part of the farmer Dixon Re" which was not new in use. The matter was referred to the highway com - mittt:e. Charles D nn was present and discussed with the Board the proposal of the grading and the grade. 1'evel. of Caroline Street. Mr.. Kenneth Wood was present and discussed with the Board the probab- ilities of the proposed storrz sewer district hooking- on to the stares sewer system of the city of Glens Falls. The proposed storm sewer dis- trict is located in the Glendale area, Mr. Wood also discussed with the board the passibility of change of the boundaries of election district No. 4 and 5 and said that the Republican ecmittee of district 4 would have no objection to the proposition that the property of the West Glens Falls Fire Company No. 2 Inc. be taken from election district no.' 4 and added to: election. district no, 5. Mr. Wood was advised that the change could not be made this year and that it Was necessary that such change j� in the district be made on or prior to July 1st. Peter Mar3LAw, Alonzo Clark_ and Kenneth Burch, Edward Labarge and John C1edr were present and discussed with the board the proposition of the location of speed and Stop signs in the Central Ave.. area, stating that cars were operating at terrific speeds along Central Ave.. and that as a safety measure, such signs should be erected. They also discussed the drainage of water•frog. the highways in that area. onto the ,abutting property owners. { a
