y 40 9 . In that event it would be necessary for your town board to advertise , for bids on the+purchase of this new proposed truck which would take the required number of days, and then it 'will be up to the town board as to the kind of truck they will purchase, and there would' be no assurance that the town board would purchase the truck which Mr. Carswell now has ready for delivery. In` such an event it would be a real puzzle to straight- en out your resolution which has provided specifically for the purchase of this Coleman 4 wheel drive truck and the trade-in allowance, and while I know it could be worked out, it would be somewhat of a difficult prop- osition. ` Therefore, it is my opinion that if there is any reasonable assur- ance that the Coleman four wheel drive truck will be delivered on January 15th,, that it is much better for the town board and'all `concerned to wait that length of time rather than to attempt to buy a new truck and cancel the old contract, Yours very truly, (Signed) Beecher S, Clother Counsel to County Attorney On motion the meeting adjourned.
