The board convened at 7:30 P.M.
Hearing upon the application for the proposed extension
notice the North
Glens Falls Water District. Proof of publication
proof of posting of notice filed.:
Tom Rogers appeared in favor, no one opposing. The board generally dis-
cussed the matter. No other action taken.
The proposed drainage of the Glendale area. was discussed..
The clerk read an application from the Adirondack Raceway Inc. for a.
license'or permit to conduct stock car racing. The petition was placed
on file.

RW the Adirondack Race-way Inc. have by written application
requested a license or permit to conduct vehicle rages after 2 P.M.
in the afternoon on Sundays and on other days of the week during the
year 1952 at its racetrack situate approximately li' miles westerly
from the city limits of the city of Glens Falls at a point approxi-
mately 500 feet northerly of the Lucerne Road,
RESOLVED the said license or permit is hereby granted to the
Adirondack Raceway Inc. to- conduct such races at such place during the
year of 1952'. And be it further
RWOLVED` that the Town Clerk issue such license or permit to the
Adirondack Raceway Inc. upon payment of the fe a of #25.00.

I is resolved that Harold Dean be and is hereby authorized and
directl1 to install at the junction of Lafayette Ave. with Route 9 a
stop an go traffic light which is now owned by the Town of Queensbury.

It is resolved that schedule D of the Special Improvements of
they Agreement for the Expenditure of Highway moneys for the year of
1952 be amended to read as follows:

"D . Commencing at the Corinth Road at the junction of East Ave.
and running northerly along East Ave. to Central Ave running thence
westerly along Central 'Ave. to Minnesota Ave. and thence running north-
erly along Minnesota Ave. to the Luzerne Road' for a distance of about
9/10 of a mile, there shall be expended the sum of $1,000 'for grading
and graveling. " A

IT IS RESOLVED that the Town Superintendent of Highways be and
is hereby authorized to attend the Superintendeht of High*ays school
at Cornell, the Supervisor to attend the Supervisors' annual meeting at
Inlet and the Welfare Officer to attend the school for Welfare Officers ,
at �Geneva, all held during the month of June. The actual or necessary
expenses of such officers in attending such meetings shall be a town
charge.

The board convened at 7:30 P.M.-
Beecher S. Glother, Esq, was present and presented a Petition request-
ing the exte nsion of the North Glens Falls Water District '-which. was
filed on the 10th day of June, 1952. The pe tition was read, received
and placed on file.
Mr Sleight introduced the following resolution and order go_44,
which was seconded by Mr. Lampson:
