WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to reappoint Joanne Watkins to the part-
time position of Purchasing Agent for 2019 in addition to her full-time position as Accountant,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby reappoints Joanne Watkins as Town of
Queensbury Purchasing Agent effective as of January 1st, 2019 until such time her Purchasing Agent
duties are incorporated in her job description as Accountant as recommended by New York State Civil
Service, at which point it is contemplated the compensation and duties of the two (2)positions will be
merged, and authorizes and directs that Ms. Watkins be paid the $6,400.58 stipend for such position
for 2019 in addition to her current, annual salary for the Accountant position,
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to
complete any documentation and the Town Supervisor and/or Town Budget Officer shall take such
other and further action as may be necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
