Minutes of meetings held on April 27th, May 3rd, Iday 8th, May
22nd and May 25th were read and approved.
A petition migned by approximately 150 signers requesting the Board
to take some action to restrain a nuisance caused by the City Dump
south of Sherman Ave.

In connection with the aforesaid petition , Arthur Clark, Elmer
Corlew and Roy Remington were given the privilege of the Floor

situation.

authorized to take the matter up with the County attorney and
he is further authorized to execute and and all papers on
behalf of the Town of Queensbury in the matter.

Whereas Charles V Peters and Ida E Peters, his wife has tendered
by deed dated May 25th 1946 , to the Town of Queensbury a strip of
land sixty feet wide' beginning at the aviation field Road for a
distance of 645 feet more or less for a highway.
Whereas after discussion, it was decided to be highly desirable
to open a town road oever the premises described in said deed.
Therefore be it resolved that the above conveyance to the Town of
property for highway purposes be and the same is hereby accepted.

Albany June 10th, llth, and 12th, 1946 or to be held in Rochester
in Jun 19th, 20th, and 21st , 1946.

authorized to attend the Town Welfare Officer's aschool for the
year 1946 .

talked with the Board in reference to prooceedure in the •
matter of the proposed extension of the North Glens Falls Water a`
District and the supply of water therein.
Mr Anna McGaghey called on the Board in refenenee to the School
for welfare officers and spoke briefly on karx the instructions that
were received at the school.
