June, 1946 duly recommend the purchase of certain Equipment I
pursuant to the provisions of section 142 of the Highway Law,
and a notice of such recommendation has been duly pLblis#ed
as provided in such action,

Now therefore Be It Resolved that -pursuant to Section 142 of the
Highway law the Town Superintendent of Highways is hereby
authorized to purchase from Earl T Carswell �,rith the approval
of the County Superintendent of Highways : {
1- F.W.D. Model S U- 5 Ton- 150" Wheel Base, chassis and
cab with 517 cubic inch Waukesha motor, 11 :00 X 20 tires,.
350 watt generator, reflectors , flares , directional signals ,
marker lights , pinjFle hook, heater and defroster, auxiliary
gas tank and spot light for a total price of Seven Thousand
One Hundred twenty-Eight and 50/100 dollars ($7128.50)
delivered at Storehouse-Town of aueensbury N.Y. , and to be
_,. delivered on or about Seutember lst,1946.
The terms of payment will be as follows :
Check drawn on machinery fund None
Check from proceeds of Obligations $7128.50
Total $7128.50
A contract of purchase for the items purchased shall be duly
executed between the Town Superintendent of highways and such vendor
and when .duly approved by the County Superintendent of Highways
it shall become effective. When such contract has been duly
executed and approved; the supervisor is authorized to
complete such purchase upon delivery of the item purchased
in accordance with the terms of such resolution and such contract
and to pay the above amount specified to be paid by check or checks .
(1) by check drawn on machinery fund (Item 3) for $ None
(2) by a check in the amount of $7128.50, drawn on the account
established from the -proceeds of obligations to be issued
pursuant to the local finance -law---to finance such purchase.
Such obligations will be authorized to be issued by this
board by a separate resolution.

to the Town of Queensbury., Carl Kieser by deed dated July 26th,194'
to the Town of Queensbury' and William H Barber and wife by deed dated
July 26th,1946 have offered to convey to the Town of Queensbury
premises described and known as Barber Ave. ,Seward St. , Ripley
Place. , extension of Grant Ave from the Cityo of Glens Falls and
Ames Place.
Therefore be it resolved that the Town Board hereby accepts the land
described in the above conveyances for highway purposes•.
Furthere resolved that the acceptance of the „ xjex premises
conveyed in the above said deeds be and the ` same erred hereby
subject to the approval of the C ounty attorney as to form
of conveyance , title , description of property therein conveyed,
and manner of execution. ,
