held on the above date at 7 :30 P.P . at the Clerk's Office the
following members were present;
H Russell Harris T Slanervisor
Henry Sleight Justice of the Peace
Meredith Bentley Justice of the Peace
Curtis Lampson Councilman
Raymond Walkup Councilman
Ernest Lackey Town Superintendent of ?4ighways also present.
Minutes of meeting held August 28th,1946 read and approved.
A petition ,ias presented to the board requesting that the
assembly point Rd be moved inland.

It was resolved that the clerk be and is hereby authorized to
publish in the Glens Falls ` imes , three times, the following;
notice.
Notice
The Town Board will receive seal proposals for the furnishing
bd the Town of Queensbury of the following.
1200 Feet of 12" vitrified' tile, delivered F 0 B Glens Falls ,N.Y.
Said sealed proposals will be received yp to 7 :30 O'clock in ,the
evening of October 5th,1946 at the Town Clerk' s office , Ridge Road
in said Town of Queensbury. Each proposal shall contain deliver
date.
The said Town Hdard reserves the right to reject any or all of said
sealed proposals..

Resolution No 53 Introduced by Justice Bentley, Seconded by
Counc a ampson. ,
It was resolved that the supervisor be and is hereby authorized
to order for use on town highways eight suitable signs to warn
traffic of approach to school houses.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes : Mr Walkup, Mr Bentley, Mr Lampson, 11r Sleight and Mr Rarris .

Ruel E Hopkins requesting appointment as Custodian of voting
machines.
Resolution No 54 Introduced by Councilman 'Nalkup, Seconded by
Justice en ey
It was resolved that Ruel E Hopkins Republican and Donald
Sullivan, Democrate be and are hereby recommended to the
Board of Elections for appointment as custodians of voting
machines for the Town of Queennbury.
1 It is further resolved that the sum of $50, be and is hereby
fixed as compensation fc)r each of said Custodians.

Ayes : IV2r Walkup, Mr. Bentley, qtr Lampson, 1jr Sleight and Mr Harris.

The Clerk read the monthly statement of the supervisor of the
moneys received and disbursed during the month of August , 1946 and
same placed on file.,
A certified copy of a resolution of the 'Marren County Board' of
$apervisors xxxxxzx concerning the administration of assistance
and care in accordance to sections 73 and 73 of the social
Welfare law was read to the board.
The Inventory of the Town Superintendent of -Highways was prose ted
to the board.
