The Board convened at 10.30 A.M. at the Clerk's Office .
, In the matter of the extension of the North Glens Falls Water
District , the Clerk presented the approval of Frank C. Moore,
Comptroller for the extension of said district.
. The members of the Town Board signed an order for the extension
. of the North Glens Falls ;'dater District as follows,

IN THE MATTER
of ORDER ESTABLISHING
THE EXTENSION OF THE NORTH GLENS FALLS DISTRICT
WATER DISTRICT, Town of Queensbury, County
of Warren, State of New York. ;
A petition in this matter for the extension of the North
Glens Falls Water District having been duly presented to the Town
Board, together with the necessary maps and plans attached thereto,
. and an order having been duly adopted by the Town Board on the 4th
. day of September, 19479 for the hearing of all persons intereoted
in the matter on the 19th da-, of September, 1947, at 7 :30 P.M.
, at the town clerks office on Ridge Road in said town, and a hear-
ing by the said Board having been duly held at such time and place,
and it having been duly resolved and determined -following .such hear-
, ing that the petition herein was signed and acknowledged or proved
as required by law and otherwise sufficient, that all the property
and property owners within the proposed extension of the North
Glens Falls Mater District were benefited thereby, that all property
and property owners benefited were included within the limits of
. the proposed extension, and that it was in public interest to grant
. in whole the relief sought , and it having been then and , there fur -
.ther duly resolved that the establishment of such proposed exten -
sion as proposed be approved, and application having been there -

after and on the 29th day, of September, 1947, duly made in dupli-
cate to the State Department of Audit and Control , Albany, for
permission to create such extension as more fully provided for by
Town Law, Section 194, and the State Comptroller having duly made
an order in duplicate , dated the 27th day of October, 1947 , grant-
ing permission for the creation of the extension of said water
district in all respects as petitioned and approved by the Town
Board as. aforesaid; and one copy of such order having been duly
filed in the office of the State Department of Audit and Control
at Albany, New York, and the other in the office of the Town Clerk
'of this Town, and the Town Clerk having duly presented such order
to this Board at this meeting, being its first meeting held after
the said order was filed with him; it is hereby
ORDERED, that said extension of the North Glens Falls Water
District be established in the said Town of Queensbury, Warren
County, New York, as described in the order of the State Comptroller
aforesaid , to be designated as the EXTENSION OF THE NORTH GLENS
FALLS HATER DISTRICT OF THE T91N OF QUEENSBURY and to be of the
following description and boundaries , to wit :
BEGINNING at the southwesterly corner of the existing
North Glens Falls Water District and running thence in
a southerly direction in the same straight line as the
westerly line of said existing District to a point in
line with the northerly corporation boundary line of
the City of Glens Falls , Warren County, New York, if
extended in a westerly direction in the same straight
line; thence running in an easterly direction and on a
line which would be the continuation in a westerly di -
reetion in the same straight line of the northerly
" corporation line of the City of Glens Falls , and along
said northerly corporation boundary line to a point 200
feet distant in an easterly direction from the center line
of the Bay Road, so Called; thence running in a northerly
,_,direction on a line parallel with and 200 feet distant
easterly from the center line of the Ba.y Road , so called .
measuring at right angles thereto, to a point 175 feet
- distant in a southerly direction from the center line of
Homer Avenue,- so called, and measuring at right- angles
thereto; thence running in an easterly direction on a
line parallel with the center line of Homer Avenue, so
called , 175 feet distant southerly therefrom, measuring I
at right angles thereto, a distance of 400 feet; thence j

the center line of the Bay Road, so called, and 600 feet
distant easterly therefrom, measuring at right angles
thereto, a distance of 350 feet to a point distant in a
northerly direction 175 feet from the center line of
4omer Avenue, so called, measuring at right angles there-

arallel with the center line of Homer Avenue, so called,
and 175 feet distant therefrom, measuring at right angles
thereto, a distance of 400 feet to a point distant in an 1

rly direction on a line parallel with the center line of
Glenwood Avenue, so called and 175 feet distant northerlv
therefrom, measuring at right angles thereto, to the point
of intersection of said last described line, with a line

District; thence running in a sourhterly direction along
the easterly line of the now existant North Glens Falls
Water District to the southeasterly corner thereof ; thence
running in a westerly direction and along the southerly
line of the now existant North Glens Falls Water District
to the southwesterly corner thereof and the place of
beginning.

Mr. Sleight introduced resolution No. 3Z; and moved its adop-
tion, seconded by Mr. Wa3 up,
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor of the Town of Queensbury be and
hereby is authorized to execute a petition to the Water Power and
Control Comn-ission of 'the State of New York, and any and all
necessary papers in 00nnection with the extension of the North
I� Glens Falls Water District.
j Duly adopted this 1st da;r of November, 1947, by the following
vote:
