The Board discussed with Mr. Meyers the matter of laying the mains
within the extension of the North Glens Falls 'Nater District.

Resolution # 41 introduced by Councilman 'Walkup seconded by Justice

Whereas it is necessary to lay a 8" water main along the easterly
side of Bay Road and under the Deleware and Hudson R.R. track to
supply water to residences on the northerly side of said railroad
crossing,
Therefore, be it resolved that the Town Board hereby requests the
Deleware and Hudson R•R•Corporation for permission to lay said water
pipe under the railroad track which crosses Bay Road in the Town of
Queensbury.

Sleight :
Whereas , a vacancy exists in the office of town clerk by reason of
the death of Bert D. Turner who was elected in November, 1945 for a
term of two years to begin on January 1st, 1946 and to expire on
December 31, 19479
Resolved, that Frances L.Turner, a duly qualified person, be and
hereby is appointed town clerk to fill said vacancy.

tistics caused by reason of the death of Bert D. Turner whose term
expires December 31, 1947,
THEREFORE, be it resolved that Frances L. Turner be and is hereby
appointed registrar of vital statistics to fill said vacancy.
