WHEREAS/, Pursuant to an advertisement requesting bids for the
lay<ing, of an 8" main along Bay Road in the extension of the North
Glens' 'Fa11s Water District, did receive a bid from the Adirondack
Construction Co. in the sum of $12,215 for labor, materials, and
perform all work for such construction which is excessive.
Therefore, be it resolved that the Town Board hereby rejects
said bid of the Adirondack Construction Company as submitted.
Further resolved that the Clerk be and is hereby authorized
and ` lr:ected to return to the said Adirondack Construction Company
certified check in the sum of Seven Hundred Dollars representing
guaranty enclosed with said bid.

out the necessary insurance to cover all of the operatives of the Town
of Queensbury which are not included under any other form of coverages,
It is hereby resolved that such portion of said resolution above
quoted be and the same is hereby amended to read 'that the Supervisor be
and is-hereby authorized and dArected to take out the necessary public
liability and money and security. pplicies , broad form, for the protection
of the Town of Queensbury and its officials in the discharge of their
duties. "

The Board convened at 7:30 P.M.
Councilman Lampson,Committee on Dump, reported that he had talked with
Mr. Meehan, a Councilman o f the City of Glens Falls, who advised him
that the City Committee on Dump would meet with the Town Board at a
convenient time to discuss the dump situation.
Mr. E•L.H. Meyers , Superintendent of the Glens Fa11S .Water Dept. ,
was present and requested that a Committee of this Board .be appointed
to investigate and order necessary materials for the by-pass in the
extension of the North Glens Falls Water District.
Fred Alexep called on the Board in reference to the old Town road(and
leading from the State Road along the shore line of Lake George/by his
dock to what was .formerly the Allen Boat Bouse, and requested that the
road be discontinued.
