RESOLUTION CALLING FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
RESOLUTION NO. 109,97

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby adjourns from Regular
Session and enters Executive Session to conduct interviews.
Duly adopted this 10th day of March, 1997 by the following vote:

2.0 ATTORNEY MATTERS

Town Board held an Attorney Client Privilege discussion.
3.0 COMMITTEE REPORTS
Councilman Goedert noted that North Queensbury has contacted her and sent paperwork regarding the
purchasing of a 1989 four wheel drive ambulance and they're putting their other one out to bid... they'll be
within the guidelines of their contract... will make copies of the paperwork for the board.
Councilman Pulver noted the Water Committee is meeting tomorrow at one o'clock... Councilman Goedert
noted the Highway Committee is meeting Friday at eleven... Councilman Monahan noted the Planning
Committee is meeting Wednesday at three.
4.0 PLANNED DISCUSSION ITEMS
4.01 Gwinup Property
Town Board held discussion regarding the offering of the Gwinup property on Mud Pond Road... agreed
that it was of no value to the town and therefore are not interested in the property.
4.02 Sewers privately owned
Mr. Mike Shaw, Deputy Director of Wastewater spoke to the board regarding the new CVS project at
Luzerne Road and Western Avenue and the proposal of the town taking over the eight inch sewer line...
also discussed the possibility of creating a larger district for that area, including parcels on both sides of the
road and noted that they did a phone survey for that particular area asking if there was an interest in sewer
service and out of the twenty-eight parcels, sixteen said yes, seven gave no response and five said no
service... Town Board held discussion, agreed that more research needs to be done before making any
decisions regarding a new district...
4.04 Comptroller's Position
Town Board held discussion and reviewed job description and qualifications for the position of
comptroller... discussed salary schedule for the position... board agreed to move forward by advertising for
the position with the salary schedule set by Amtek.
4.05 Queensbury/Moreau Water Plan
