LENGTH OF JOB: 2 weeks TOW ILp G&CODES QUEENSBURY
BUILDING CONTRACTOR SCOPE:
Demo:
• Existing split faced block that needs to be removed for the repairs to the wall
• Existing insulation to be be replaced with new
• Existing sheetrock that needs to be removed for the framing repairs needed
• Any damaged framing that needs to be removed for like replacement
• Removal of glass and framing as needed to replace with new
•
Framing, install, general conditions:
• Install new framing as needed to replace like for like framing
• Install new insulation
• Install new sheetrock, tape, sand and paint etc. to finish
• Allerdice to replace the appx. 6' x 9'1" frame and glass
• Install new split faced block to match existing(provided by stewarts)
Miscellaneous:
• Coordinate any necessary inspections required by municipality (framing,
insulation, etc.)
• Contractors responsibility to pick up necessary materials from our warehouse
(461 Church St. Saratoga Springs NY, 12866)
• Fire caulk any penetrations per code

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THERE IS A SAFE ENTRANCE PROVIDED FOR OUR CUSTOMERS AT ALL
TIMES DURING THE CONSTRUCTION.APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE AND TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS IS
OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE.THE SHOP WILL REMAIN FULLY OPERATIONAL THROUGH OUT.THE
SITE MUST BE KEPT CLEAN DURING THE PROCESS.THE SITE SHOULD BE KEPT FREE OF ALL NAILS,
SCREWS,ETC.AT ALL TIMES.ANY DEMOLITION DEBRIS MUST BE PLACED IN A CONSTRUCTION
DUMPSTER AND REMOVED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.ALL VEHICLES,EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS
MUST BE PLACED IN A MANOR SO AS NOT TO INTERFERE WITH OUR CUSTOMERS ACCESS TO AND
FROM THE SHOP AND GASOLINE PUMPS.STEWARTS CONSTRUCTION CREW WILL BE DOING A
MAJOR REMODEL ON THE INTERIOR OF THE SHOP SIMULTANEOUSLY SO COOPERATION AND
TIMING OF CERTAIN ASPECTS OF THE JOB ARE OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE.THE STEWARTS
SUPERVISOR WILL BE MAKING ON SITE DECISIONS AND SCHEDULE MODIFICATIONS AS NEEDED ON
A DAILY BASIS.ANY OTHER CHANGES AND QUESTIONS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BY THE PROJECT
MANAGER.SINCE WE ARE DEALING WITH SEVERAL SUB CONTRACTORS,IT IS IMPORTANT TO STAY
WITH THE SCHEDULE AND NOTIFY THE PROJECT MANAGER WITH ANY CHANGES IMEDIATELY.
