LANDFILL CONTRACT WITH CITY OF GLENS FALLS
Supervisor Brandt-A meeting was held with Glens Falls Mayor and Council and the newly elected officials
of Glens Falls and the Supervisor Elect of the Town of Queensbury Fred Champagne.
Glens Falls is skeptical, but willing to discuss, they will pay 50% of the cost $187,762.03 (landfill
fugures on file) Signing on for full 1993 expenses, all the way through the end of the year. Did not discuss
the timing of the payment but it would be in a timely fashion.

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby moves into Executive Session to
discuss Attorney Client Privilege information.

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby adjournes as the Queensbury Board
of Health and moves back into regular session.

RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 729.93
RESOLUTION NO. 729.93

WHEREAS, on November 29, 1993 adopted resolution number 729 providing for the termination of the
City's use of the Landfill and transfer stations, and
WHEREAS, since the time the adoption of the resolution, City Officials have met with the Town
Supervisor and Supervisor Elect and proposed a resolution of the issues described in the aforesaid
resolution
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that in view of the foregoing the Town Board hereby rescind resolution number 725.93, and
the Town Attorney is directed to prepare a memorandum of agreement.
