WHEREAS, Adirondack Race Management/Lake George Triathlon Festival has requested
authorization from the Queensbury Town Board to conduct its 14th annual Lake George Triathlon
on the following roads:

EVENT : Lake George Triathlon
DATE : Saturday, August 31st, 2019
TIME : Approximately 7:00 a.m. — 10:30 a.m. (Bike Leg Portion)
PLACE : Warren County Bike Trail and then Birdsall, Round Pond, Blind
Rock, Haviland, Rockwell, Sunnyside,Jenkinsville and Ridge Roads
(map delineating course attached);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby acknowledges receipt of proof of
insurance from Adirondack Race Management/Lake George Triathlon Festival to conduct the Lake
George Triathlon partially within the Town of Queensbury on Saturday, August 31st,2019, and

BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to approval by the
Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any
time up to the date and time of the event.

I have reviewed the request from Adirondack Race Management, which intends to hold the 14t'
Annual Lake George Triathlon on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
Weather permitting, I hereby grant my approval for this event to be held on the following
roadways that are under my jurisdiction: Ash Drive, Birdsall Road, Rockwell Road, and Jenkinsville
Road. The remaining roadways are not in my jurisdiction and may require additional
authorization.

Good Morning Pam- Hope you are well. I am reaching out to you and the town of Queensbury on behalf of the
Lake George Triathlon Festival.
The Lake George Triathlon Festival takes place August 31st and September 1st this year. It is based in the TownNillage
of Lake George, but will utilize roadways in the Towns of Bolton, Chester, Horicon, Queensbury and Warrensburg.
We are seeking a resolution for use of some roads during the bike portion of the Lake George Triathlon.
Therefore, we would like to formally request a resolution to use the roads in Queensbury for our 14th annual
Lake George Triathlon taking place on August 31st, 2019. The triathlon will consist of a swim, bike and run.
The bike course will travel on the following roads in the town of Queensbury - the Warren County Bike Trail,
Birdsall, Round Pond, Blind Rock, Haviland, Rockwell, Sunnyside, Jenkinsville and Ridge Roads. The bikes
will begin the course just after 7am and should be off of the roads in Queensbury by 10:30am. A course map
with a cue sheet is attached. I have also attached a certificate of Insurance for the Town as well. Please let me
know if you need any other information.
