Ms. Ronnie Travers and Mr. Bob Baneuski from AMTEK Management Services, Corp. reviewed with the
Town Board a summation of their human resources review of the Town of Queensbury. They discussed
the following topics; Posters & Permits, Required Licenses, Employment of Minors, Application of the
Fair Labor Standards Act to Employees of State and Local Governments, Independent Contractor, Public
Sector Recruitment, Employment Interview Guidelines, Employee Orientation Program, Employee and
Supervisory Training and Development, Americans With Disabilities Act, Employment Discrimination
Policy, Affirmative Action Plan, Sexual Harassment Policy, Drug-Free Work place Policy, Personnel Files,
Job Descriptions, Civil Service Job Descriptions, Performance Appraisal Systems, Wage and Salary
Administration, Employee Handbook, Corrective Discipline Procedures, Unemployment Insurance,
Worker's Compensation, Employee Benefits, COBRA and Employee Termination Procedures. Mr.
Baneuski presented and reviewed with the Town Board their fee proposal.
No decision regarding the retention of AMTEK was made at this point in time.

RESOLUTION HIRING CLEANER
RESOLUTION NO. 369,95

WHEREAS, there is a vacancy in the Building and Grounds Department in the Cleaner position,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes and directs the
Town Supervisor to hire Mr. William Manny, Jr., as a Cleaner working on the Third Shift, effective
Monday, June 26, 1995, at the hourly rate of $9.46 per hour, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that Mr. Manny will be placed on a six month probation period, with previous
longevity for time served working in the Town Highway Department (Employee #908) to be credited to
him, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to complete any
necessary forms to effectuate this resolution.

RESOLUTION APPOINTING FULL-TIME SENIOR CITIZENS COORDINATOR
RESOLUTION NO. 373, 95

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is desirous of creating the position of a
full-time Senior Citizens Coordinator and making an appointment thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby establishes the position of
Full-Time Senior Citizens Coordinator, and hereby appoints Ms. Kathleen Kathe to said position effective
July 10, 1995, at an annual rate of pay of $22,000., with said wages to be paid to Ms. Kathe from the
appropriate Town of Queensbury Payroll Account, and with said appointment to be provisional and subject
to any Civil Service tests or requirements, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to complete any
necessary forms to effectuate this resolution.

Mr. Paul Naylor, Highway Superintendent held discussion with the Town Board regarding the Notice of
Defect Petition from residents of Peggy Ann Road which is filed in the Town Clerk's Office. Mr. Naylor
noted that the town could hire an engineer to do a study. No decision was made, town board agreed to
continue discussions.

regarding an attorney being on the board...We (the Council) will be meeting tomorrow night and will make
a recommendation on disclosures...discussed the use of an Attorney...
