RESOLUTION CALLING FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
RESOLUTION NO. 369,96

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby adjourns from Regular
Session and enters Executive Session to discuss one ongoing litigation matter and one ongoing personnel
investigation matter.
Duly adopted this 9th day of September, 1996, by the following vote:

DISCUSSION ITEMS
4.01 WATERFRONT RESIDENTIAL ZONING
Executive Director, Jim Martin referred to memo submitted concerning the latest modifications to the
Waterfront Residential Zoning and reviewed proposed changes with the board. Town Board agreed to set
new hearing for the next board meeting.
4.08 ADIRONDACK PARK LOCAL GOVERNMENT REVIEW BOARD
Supervisor Champagne noted that this group is considered a watch dog as the AP A attempts to put policies
and procedures in place.
Executive Director, Mr. Martin noted that he's not familiar with this group.
Town Board held discussion and agreed they would like more information before taking any action.
4.07 SPECIAL SALES EVENTS
Town Board agreed to hold discussion for next workshop.
4.05 HIDDEN HILLS PETITION
Councilman Goedert noted that the Highway Committee discussed the Hidden Hills Petition and
recommended that it be sent to the county for their review and decision. Town Board held discussion and
agreed to have resolution prepared for next board meeting.
4.06 PATRICIA WASSERMAN'S LETTER
Councilman Goedert noted that Pat Wasserman's letter concerns the possibility of having her children
bused. Stated that she has contacted Mary Sperry, Chairperson of the Transportation Committee at
Queensbury School and a meeting has been scheduled to try and convince the school to bus these children.
DISCUSSION
Executive Director, Mr. Martin noted that Mr. Fred Carvin has recently completed his term as Chairman of
the Zoning Board of Appeals and suggested that the board consider recognizing him by resolution at a
board meeting.
4.02 SET BUDGET DISCUSSION DATES, INCLUDING EMERGENCY SERVICES
Town Board held discussion and agreed to schedule department budget discussions for October 1st, 3rd,
and 9th... and budget discussions for Emergency services scheduled for September 24th, 25th, 26th and
October 1st.
4.03 1997 TOWN BOARD BUDGET
Comptroller, Mr. Burns reviewed 1997 Town Board budget with the board.
6.0 TOWN BOARD MEMBER MATTERS
Supervisor Champagne noted that copies of the highway garage specs were put in the board member's
mailboxes today... would like to have a resolution authorizing the bidding prepared for the next board
meeting.
Supervisor Champagne noted that Mr. Flaherty has requested to attend a workshop conference September
17th in Alexandria Bay. Town Board held discussion and agreed to authorize his attendance.
Councilman Monahan referred to the highway garage specs and requested that they be reviewed by the
town's insurance company, Cool Insurance.
Supervisor Champagne noted that he's received correspondence from Americade to see whether the town
wanted to run an advertisement in their paper, the Americade Times. Town Board held discussion and at
this time, no decision was made.
4.09 SET DATE FOR PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL MEETING WITH COMMITTEE
Supervisor Champagne noted that there's been a request to schedule a meeting between the Town Board
and the Performance Appraisal Committee... after discussion, no meeting was scheduled.
