Ralph Been, President Alger Mason, Treasurer Robert Lapan, Chief Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Co_._ Inc. Dr. Wiswall , President Wheeler Howe, Secretary Bernard Codner, Chief Floyd Sleight, Director James Mulholland, Director Louis Hartman, Director. The followinS people were present in tie interests of fire protection: Lawrence,Denton, L. Np,ssivera, Kenneth Crossman: - - Boulevard Section. The privilege of the floor was extended to George Wiswall who spoke in reference to the Town Board entering into contracts for Fire pro- tection on behald of the Fire Protection District and what the Comp- anies could expect from the Town. :f. The privilege of the floox was also extended to Mr. Akins Secretary of the +lest Glens Falls Volunteer Fire Co. and Mr. Ralph een,' President of the North Queensbury Volunteer Fire Co. who also spoke in reference to Town contracting with various Fire Companies for fire protection. The Board generally discussed with the people pr)�§ent the equ.!_pment had at the -present time by the various-'companies and was informed two companies now have fire trucks equipped and in service. '.:ff©rfighting fires. It was also discussed whether "`•c~r not any efforts were being made to organize volunteer fire coiapanie�s In the Oneida section and Boule- vard Section of the Town. At the suggestion of Justice Bentley, it was decided to wait a month before-lany action is taken on contracts ..bv% the Board to give an opportunity to the people in the areas which do not have volunteer fire companies to organize such companies. -On motion meeting adjourned.
