The following is a copy of the -letter: Warren County Department of Health July 5th, 1949 I Dr. Henry Clarke, Notre Dame Street, Glens Falls, N.Y. Re: Kazmer's Town of Queensbury Dear Dr. Clarke: This small pond is very shallow and in the height of the season seems hardly adequate to care for the bathers ' needs. The dock is in very poor condition and is dangerous for public use. The men's dressing room is nothing but a shed - no windows, rotten floors with holes, and the holes of which have been used for a toilet. The girls' dressing room is -in the same condition except that it is not used as a toilet. The pavilion is dirty throughout. The Soda Bar and *Sandwich Bar is dirty; floor the same; kitchen dirty; garbage in open cans on kitchen floor. The kitchen should not be used to prepare food to serve to the public unless extensive repairs are made, also in the soda bar. The dance hall part of the pavilion is fair. A Mr. Shell, who -operates this small bathing resort is understood to be giving this up this coming week because the owner, Mr. ,Charles Domasavage will not make the necessary repairs to put the establishment in a safe, sanitary condition for the public to use. In my opinion, this establishment should be off limits to the public, Very truly yours, (Signed) William R. Lee William R. ,Lee Sanitary Inspector In connection therewith, the following resolution was adopted: Res Lotion #43 introduced by Justice Sleight,. seconded by Justice Bentley.
