Gentlemen: We have a problem that can be solved through your Board, and we are asking your assistance. The camp that we occupy is located on the Allen property at Dun- ham's Bay. We have been going there for ten years and always had the pleasure of swimming from the beach on the old Fielding Estate. As you probably know, the old Fielding Estate was purchased by Mr. Alexy, "Dunham's Bay Lodge". We were told by the natives in this area that the property that borders the Lake across the road from Dunham's Bay Lodge is not owned by Mr. Alexy. However, we have been ordered from this prop- erty by Mr. Alexy. When we told him that he did not own this property, he said, and I quote, "There are some old farmers on the Board that don't know anything and they are trying to get money from me" . When we were there last week-end, the property was posted "Private Property", Order of Dunham's Bay Lodge. Would you please let us know if this property is owned by Mr. Alexy, or if we have a right to swim from there. It does not seem fair to have this area posted by Mr. Alexy if it really belongs to the State and County. We would greatly appreciate your co-operation on this matter. Thank you. Very truly yours, (signed) Mr. and Mrs. George E, Woodin, Mr. and Mrs. George E, Woodin 1517 Third Avenue, Waterveliet, N.Y..
